Press-Fit 510s your thoughts?

Hey guys,

Im curious what you guys think of press fitted 510s?
Do you avoid them?
Or doesnt matter to you?

I heard about press fitted 510s it can get loose with time especially if you use rdas that are tight to get off the top cap,wiggling it back and forth is bad for these press fitted 510s..
I usually dont even look at if its press fitted or not but since i read so many topics about peoples 510s getting loose i think ill pay more attention to it and maybe avoid mods that use them unless i RLY like the mod...

What you guys think of them?
Prob doesnt even matter lol
I also never got one loose on me but non of my mods are "old" so idk
But yea it seems theres some people out there that really hate these typ of mods haha

I never even knew of this thing. To me it doesn't sound like a very good idea, but an engineer I'm not..

Some RDA's are so tight I'll screw it into a 510 heatsink to try to get the cap off. I remove an o ring if it has 2 or replace the o-ring with a silicone one. I don't like a real tight cap. The pulse rda and the requiem rda that came with the pulse2 squonker were both really really tight. I wasn't crazy about them anyway.

I just never pull a top cap off when it's on a mod.
Move it to a build stand before removing it.
I squonk so not an issue, but could see it being a problem if dripping.

Press fit is just for time and cost.

So absolutely useless when it comes to the mechanical aspect, as I'm sure everyone has at least overtightened an atomiser on the odd occasion and even ended up with the occasional one getting bound and stuck.

I can personally say you don't want to vape an ant. I have and it's not very nice. It did not improve the flavor of my juice.

Lol yea press fit doesnt seem very good idea since some rdas are very tight and wiggling back and forth to get cap off is bad for the press fit i usually try to avoid these kind of mods unless i rly want it but if i do ill do what the other dude said if you wanna take off the cap put it on a build stand first

But yea press fit i can totally see it getting loose with time and like 50% or more of the mods out there uses them, =/

I've had a few atomisers myself bind in style on the rare occasion and needed to use rubber gloves to try and get them to budge, and like I've said before any press fit 510 isn't going to like that at all.
