My job is gonna last until I retire, l'm hoping. Really, it's great. I keep meaning to get on here a bit at night but I've been vegging out to Prison shows.

I don't have the time, what with an apartment up here at the new place and going back to Tucson on weekends I am just busy.

I totally appreciated ECF allowing me to get through a ton of life events and stay distracted but I don't think I will ever post as much as I used to, I think it's a good thing, honestly.

But yeah it's permanent because I really like it.

vaping peeve dropping all my mods moving them from night stand to coffee table because I am still asleep. Annoying.

My biggest pet peeve is that we use variable wattage, and that we use wattage at all. I much prefer variable voltage, and it's much more intuitive. It's way easier to dial in your vape with voltage.
Eh? How? :?:
30 Watts is always 30 Watts.
4 Volts can be everything from 100W+ to 5W.

Also, most (all?) VW mods show the Voltage anyway; so ignore the big number and just look at the Voltage.

One benefit of voltage is that it isn't dependent on the mod interpreting resistance, which can be off due to connector issues or an inaccurate board. Worst case, if the mod can't read resistance you may not be able to vape at all.
Another is that studies have shown that volts taste better!:D

Think about it, if your mod goes up to 8.4 volts or whatever, the number of choices that you have, assuming you can only choose 10ths of a volt, is maybe 60....if you're adjusting in wattage, assuming you're only dealing with full watts, you'll probably have at least 120 choices, and more if you adjust by half or 10ths of a watt. Volts are just easier, if you're switching attys or whatever, 4.2 volts is always gonna be a pretty good starting point....but that could be anything from 20 to 80 watts. And every time you change an atty, you probably end up looking at voltage anyway...not all of my pet peeves make sense to other people, though. I just don't care for wattage, and think it's stoopid.

The cool thing about wattage mode is that it creates the vaping experience by doing the ohms law calculation for resistance in real time by reading the atomizer coil and adjusting the voltage. You don't have to change the wattage setting if you change the atomizer for one with a different resistance.

It's all about voltage at the coil no matter what control scheme is being used. True, though ... if you have control over the voltage you don't have to be concerned about the electronics changing the vape as the coil resistance changes with heat. You can adjust it yourself to your own taste, but the coil resistance will vary with the heat it's producing.

That said, it's easy to find a middle ground setting that works.
