Yup. I went from no BF mods to now having everything for 5, maybe 6 or more. Definitely addiction. I won't call out the names, but a certain couple of forum members were selling off all their stuff a little while back. Well, I thought they were nuts and bought several items. Damn, looks like I maybe having that same fire sell myself.

What terrible people! :nun::angel:

Are you having Mike fill the Taifun with Dill Pickle?
When the chip goes wacko it still fires sort of like ^^^ dropping the clutch with the RPMs high. I can hear and feel it so I back off and just reset the board to get back a wonderfully controlled vape. My screen has some pixels wonky or numbers wrong when it does this for an easy to see confirmation that a power cycle is needed.
Wonder if is a similar board still firing with a lost mind you're experiencing with Kanthal giving the burnt taste?

That Dill Pickle is surprisingly good. Very subtle, goes well with a Bloody Mary. (might be the only vape juice in existence that pairs well with a Bloody Mary)

So I have some concerns with my parts order from Mcmaster-Carr.

They shipped my parts out today, but what is concerning me is they still haven't charged my card for the parts. Not only have they not charged me for the parts yet, they also never told me how much shipping was going to be for my order.

I guess now I am concerned that they are going to charge me some outrageously high fee or something and I won't be able to do anything about since they shipped it already.
I am not at all happy with the way they handle their orders, and hopefully I won't have to order from them again if this is how it is going to be.

You should have received an invoice from them before shipment

Yeah, that's everyone's pet peeve with them, you only know the shipping cost when you get the invoice.

True here as well, and I use them a lot, almost weekly.

I will say though, that I have never been "shocked" by any unreasonable shipping fees. They have always seemed legitimate.

I received an order confirmation from them the instant I placed my order, which showed the total for the parts but not the shipping. I expected to receive an invoice before they shipped, so I could pay, but still have not received anything.

I have a tracking number already and it has left their warehouse in Chicago already, still no invoice or charge to my card, that is what is concerning me.

I just got off the phone with Mcmaster, they said this is normal. They ship your order out then generate the invoice that night and send the invoices all out the following day along with charging all the accounts.
They said they do it this way so they only have to process payments once per day.

Just thought I would update this in case anyone else following this thread is confused like I was.

PS, just for the sake of more info so others know what to expect for shipping
All the Mcmaster parts totaled $28.98 before shipping and the they said the shipping was around $6. Shipping is based on weight, so if you are in the US this is how much you will pay.

McMaster is totally legit and has a great reputation, but most of their customers are businesses that have "open accounts" with them, and for whom it's completely normal not to know exactly what the shipping costs will be when they place an order. As others have said, don't sweat it, their charges are entirely reasonable.
