nah, I have the real one, but not the bottom feeding. made the tibs by bap mod

I have 3 DNA 30 devices, 1 cloupor device, and 1 FT device. The FT chip is the worst by far. The cloupor is almost synonymous with the evolve chips. the size is a little different and wakes up just a tad slower
From where does one purchase the Cloupor chip?

Is there going to be a parts list to finish the the box once we get it or on shape got these parts already installes
Shapeways just makes the plastic parts. This is a true DIY mod. There's about a dozen other parts you'll need, not counting the DNA board, basic mod-making stuff like wire, and some standard bottom-feeder bottles and tubing.

Although I can't speak for him, I'm confident gdeal will include a detailed parts list and build instructions when he releases this.

I think we are almost there. The beta guys came up with some really good ideas and I changed up a few of the design elements, so we are now at version 3.1. I would say that we are about about a week away from wrapping up the beta builds if all goes well, but most guys are doing this in their spare time, so I am not rushing anyone. I really appreciate their participation and want them to feel like the mod is ready as well.

What I can say is that v3.1 is significantly less complex and has much fewer parts. The build process is much easier too. I have a parts list drawn up already and it will posted.

Pics to come shortly....

Amen to that!

I know it's hard to wait, but v3.1 is worth the wait.
(And I wont have v3.1 internals till Friday but I do know some of the hardships of v3 and easily destroyed parts that were eliminated)

Good Day to all , just my thoughts too , I could never Imagine myself doing all the precise technical work that many experts here can do .
I would Happily and Humbly be ready to pay towards all charges if someone could really make one of these for me .
Thanking you in advance and best wishes
Sah
I want one of these so bad! Anyone willing to put one together for those of us with neither the time or skill?

I really don't think the technical work required to build this unit, provided you had all parts on hand, is really that advanced.

With V3.1 it will require moderate modding skills.

Cleaning up of printed parts
(there is left over loose material in nooks and crannies)

Coating of external printed parts
(the plastic is porous so at minimum several applications of clear top coat on external parts)

Some hand sizing of printed parts
(this will vary from batch to batch as the 3D printing process isn't consistent on tight tolerances and finish)

Drilling and grinding of SS screw
(this is probably the most difficult part unless you have a drill press or lathe and a little experience at it)

Soldering
(If you have never soldered I would suggest some online research and practicing soldering first)

Gluing (I use CA)

Did I miss or misrepresent anything fellow beta's?

BTW, be aware that the colored plastics are not subtle.
The "Coral Red" (Now just called "Red") I chose sticks out like a sore thumb.

Now, making the CAD drawings and getting precise measurements/angles, placement, etc, that's where all the wizardry comes in.

Agreed
