Placed an order with Sculpteo on the evening of Jan 11th for a white kit, out for deliver Jan 16th. Impressive.
That was my experience as well. My shapeways orders have been so slow as to really encourage me to get my own printer as it is hard to do prototype work with such an iterative process when each cycle is three or four weeks long.

If you try you can do it There a lot of videos to show you how to solder and the rest is pretty easy
The build doc is quite concise and it helps a lot. You can also post in this thread and there are plenty of people ready to help.
If you read a few pages back there was a member who tried to send there parts to another member to build there mod and it didn't turn out to well
If you do have to go that route Make Sure! the member you chose to build your mod is a reliable person.
There a lot of videos to show you how to solder and the rest is pretty easy The build doc is quite concise and it helps a lot. You can also post in this thread and there are plenty of people ready to help.

That's bullsith , I didn't become a vendor for a long time bc I knew they would stop me from buying stuff off the classies...so stupid I didn't know I couldn't do coops either . I'm verified
i'm sorry you didn't realize classifieds and co-ops are all in the same section and you lose access to both as a vendor. maybe some of your buddies can help you out when it comes to something you're interested in ................
There are enough people in this thread that I consider friends that I wouldn't worry about that

i backtracked and i'm pretty sure he was in one of my co-ops. i think his order went to a business which you might be able to find a phone number for. i check my records later.
also, did you notify paypal? i hope you did send the money that way and you might at least recover that but there's a 60-day limit on claims
