Too bad they don't fit the 510 ' s this mod needs.
Agreed, they won't fit. I've got some of the "Box-mod" 510s here, and there's no way that making that pin only 3mm longer would make it usable in the 510 insert that the mod's upper us currently designed to accept because..

They appear too short anyways, need to be longer
Right!

Moreover, these pins look to be brass. If you're willing to run your juice through a brass pin, just get some brass 6-32 screws -- they'd be MUCH easier to drill than the stainless steel one's we're using now.

The new FD 510 for BF looks interesting. I ordered a few of them to test. Does anybody know if they have the floating 510 pin or is its stationary?

A 3mm extension sounds short. I also wish he put a barb or screw thread on the tube connector.

These wont fit the current v3.1. The top plate has a larger diameter, but it easy enough to add another optional part Top Cap that these would fit, if it makes sense.

The FD 510 is the same, you just takeout the center pin and replace it with the BF center pin so it's still spring loaded.

We know that Fat Daddy will entertain modification suggestions - this edition of his 510 was in collaboration with bapgood, after all. Having him make a longer threaded SS pin instead of these should be easy for him to source to his Chinese manufacturers.
Yeah, but I'm guessing that would take a while. Let's hope the person who said he can drill screws for us comes through.

can someone explain a bottom feeder to me?

-the noob

No tanks to fiddle with, no dripping, just enjoying the vape.
There is a bottle typically 5-6ml inside the mod that you squeeze to force e-liquid up through the 510 connector into the atty.
You need a special atomizer to do this that has a hole in the bottom - think reverse dripping, extra e-liquid gets sucked back into the bottle

Most any RDA can be modified to accommodate bottom feeding. In the end, the vape is pretty much exactly what you'd get from dripping but without the hassle of needing two hands and a separate juice bottle.

Dennis gave me permission to disclose this info but I must put out a disclaimer first:
DENNIS IS NOT GIVING ANYONE PERMISSION TO COPY OR TO MANUFACTURE THIS DESIGN. THIS IS NOT AN OPEN SOURCE DESIGN. THIS IS HIS DESIGN AND RELEASING THIS INFO IS IN REFERENCE TO THE BOTTOM FEEDER PINS HE RELEASED.

Now, that being said, the pins are made out of brass but he has come up with a design to still use these pins as a BF. Here is the conversation I had with him
