WSF is the problem with my order. Funny about 10 days ago the WSF parts went into production then out again :( then it took about 7 more days before they went into production again. Now all my coloured parts are done Just 2 sets of internals that are WSF. After reading jonniemac's post I shouldn't complain :)

I've had the same thing happen.
Not convinced they didn't lose one of the smaller pieces like the switch spacer, but that's pure speculation....

I have received that delay email too. Usually it happens when your order has a mix of parts with longer lead time materials and with WSF parts. I noticed that they delay starting the fast production part (WSF) till the last minute. Then something happens, the long lead time parts are done but the WSF is still in production. Either one of their tech fell asleep at the printer and botched it or they are having queuing issues because of WSF order volume. When I get this email I email them right back and request for them to send the parts they have and request that they send it for free. (worked twice!) If the parts are all for the same mod, I just wait and get .......

Even with these faults, my experience with their customer service has always be satisfactory. They always respond quickly to issues and complaints and have reprinted parts (if out of spec) for free. Overall its not that bad of service. I have a mod out getting Hydrodripped. Its been over three weeks and the guy takes a week to respond to my emails and I still have no ETA.

And I'm a little jealous of the "your special" love letter...:D

Funny thing is that the part they can't seem to print is just the 26650 clamp group in WSF polished! They are pretty much just 4 squares with a couple of holes in them! They have already successfully printed, shipped and sent the parts to a couple of customers in WSFP who were nice enough to post pictures.

My experience with their customer service has always been pleasant and completely pointless in the final analysis. At times the only way I've gotten a response is to light them up on Twitter. They always offer to ship what they have or refund the shipping charges and I always offer to make changes to make their life easier or even to speak directly with someone who can identity whatever the issue may be and then they usually quit responding, close the ticket and ask me to fill out a survey.

I don't feel special, this is probably my 5th order that went over 2 weeks late and I've spent thousands, so I wouldn't get too jealous! Lol

IF and only IF you are comfortable soldering in the frame....

Insert the switches, carefully place a couple drops of glue per the build doc.
Put the frame in the end of a wire reel and WALK AWAY.

Don't overdo it or the glue will run down the collar, surround the button, and make the switch (and probably that internal) unusable - ask me how I know....
Same thing works for the fire button - glue down, walk away, solder when dry.

I realize these are variants on the build doc but am getting questions and wanted to try alternatives.

FYI: If anyone is in need of drilled 510 screws you can PM Chowderhead1972 for some. (has 10 ready ATM)
I don't have all my parts yet to test them with but they measure out in spec according to this https://imgur.com/a/ouV6h

Chowder does excellent work. I have two of his drilled atties.

Me 2 ... Just got an AWESOME vapemail from him yesterday ... a Magma & a 2013 Cyclone with AFC (see video)

Cyclone RBA with AFC - Bottom Feed Modified - YouTube

You can't even see the feed hole for the deck with the naked eye it is tucked so far down in the gutter. Can barely see it in the ultra close-up in the video. Looks like the Juice is being teleported to the deck. Heh Heh

Just got my kit from fatdaddy. Anyone notice that the needle is loose when placed thru the BF center pin? Any solution for this? I've sent Dennis a msg to increase the dia of the needle to fit snug in the pin.

I go the complete kit from FD but as a backup I also got some drilled screws from Chowderhead1972 just in case the FD floating pin idea floats right on by. LOL
I haven't had time to put anything together yet but I will report back here when I see what's what.

The needle is 1.8mm OD. The ID of the brass connector is 2mm. A bit too much play, I agree, hopefully he is open to suggestions.....
