Nice, I was prepared to be unimpressed with the DNA40, but I've been proven wrong. If there's no structural changes required, I'm off to Shapeways to order more parts!

Maybe it won't pop when you limit the temp? The Ni200 wore is a pain to use with SS mesh..... Almost pops instantly. I don't like using cotton.
Well, within reason. Most of the beta group had good results with 28, 30, and 32g, however there were some exotic coils made with other gauges. Dual coils, twisted wire etc.

I'd assume that much like kanthal, the lower the guage, the longer it takes to heat up?
With Temp Protection, the wire never gets hot enough to pop. It wont glow. You can use any wick material you like. The vaporization point of ejuice is below the char point of the wicks we use.
Yes, I found that 28g and 30g works best for vaporization surface area and responsiveness. But the way the chip works, regardless of your wattage setting, it will dump full power into the coil when you press the fire button until it hits the set temp, then it maintains temp at the set wattage level. So with 40 watts available, there is really no lag at all even if you like to use a lower power setting.
Is there a feature or setting that will allow one to dry burn the coil?

Wait, you turned a Taifun into a fancy carto-tank?![]()
Yep, a Carto on steroids. And you would be amazed at how well it vapes!
