I brush applied about ten layers of sealant to the top of my button. It won't be showing signs of wear for a looong time.

This latest time I sprayed on 2 coats of polyurethane. I can't tell if its still wearing or not. Time will tell.

I've tried brush application of paint and I get brush strokes. Its not the brushes' fault as I've used cheap brushes and more expensive brushes also. I'm pretty sure its the fool on the other end.

I wouldn't use a brush anywhere else, just the top of the button. It looks like it's got a shiny layer of clear plastic on it, but in the beginning after a couple of days with nothing on it, just a black plastic button, it started to have a wear spot, and I didn't want to put anything on the rest of the button that might affect the action. It all worked out well. I'm thinking about dying my new one, Either that or the ceracote. I'm afraid I couldn't make the ceracote look so good. Gdeal's looks professionally done.

Got an FT Derringer in the mail today. BF'ing it was a piece of Cake. Popped that center pin-out, Drilled through that ridiculously soft stainless steel, notch the drainage hole with a dremel cut off wheel and then drilled the drain hole. Nice fit on the v4.2!

Does anyone want real copper, brass, aluminum buttons? I thought they may be hard in the internal switches but the more I think about it the more I think it will be fine. ?? Gdeal? ?
An aluminum button would be sweet, 1 please.
That is of course if/when they become available.

I only have a 3.1 w/ an alps switch, I have need an extra of each button to copy. I'll get it squared away with gdeal and start a list, I may have to put the list in my thread, I'll ask a moderator. .. if one doesn't tell me I'm doing something wrong first. .
