About to order 3 peko+ shells... My two 18650's have been running daily, but one is having some issues. I think its the shell. It's been dropped so many times it's not even funny. Both have been converted to full wire. The "upset" one is still going strong, but needs a tweak here and there.

Moxi where are you ordering only shells? Live wire only.sells the peko plus in kits and sculpteo/ shape ways is out of commission for Gs mods

Cool, a few days ago I was surfing live wire and the peko+ was only available in a kit. So now their available separate? Awesome. I don't need extra kits either Moxi, haha. If I could just have funds to purchase a boat load of prints, I could build a small army of Pekos

Hey all,

I have a drop in performance on my peko after repairing the battery spring a couple times. I think it's corrosion throughout the current path, the whole thing looks pretty green and nasty from a casual inspection.

I think I should loosen everything up and scrub it good with baking soda and water, like I would do for a corroded car battery. Does this make sense and/or would you do something different?

Yep, clean it up good. Not sure baking soda is needed. Ya use that on a car battery to neutralize the acid that's much of the source of corrosion there. After you clean it all up, use some anti-corrosion goop like Deoxit on the mechanical joints when you put it back together, or do what I did to begin with, solder those joints.

Mine is nearly a year old now. It has spent about 1/3 of its life 150' from the ocean in an area known for extremely high levels of salt in the air, and it's the mod that goes out on the beach with me. The only place I've ever had conductivity issues are at the interface between the last lug and the vented screw.

Nice Moxi I'll keep that in mind when I order some Peko plus. And your right about my forum name, wish I could change it. I used to strictly use Reos and after finding gdeal 8 months ago I sold my Reos just a few weeks after using my pekos. I like that I can build them myself and make adjustment s and improvements as needed.

I wish I could be Peko4Lyfe

Yes Moxi you are awesome! I need some new bottles, my 6 vapage bottles in rotation are getting fragile .

Anyone remember way back in this thread (or the gdeal/drunk j picture thread) where drunk J had other 9 or 10 ml bottles on order that would fit our printed mods... What ever
happened with that? Did the bottles work ?
