What finish are you using on the two right hand ones? Is it stone finish spray paint or something else?

BTW, whoever started the talk about those zenith double cross atties, OMG for 5 bucks they are awesome. I grabbed 4 of them. Sure they are huge, but vape really well. For 5 bucks you can just give them out to friends your trying to get into bottom feeding. Nice find.

fasttech has those Derringers in all colors for around 8 bucks now. Wondering if the fatdaddy BF pin conversion will work on it. Otherwise I need to find a new pin somewhere so I don't drill through copper.

Where did you get your BF zeniths from? I grabbed 3 from a site (2 copper and 1 gold) of the zenith 2.5s that come with a bottom fed screw. They were 5 as well, I just wish the black was in stock. May pick up a black one or 3 if they get them back.

I now have my kits and a shell, just waiting patiently on the rest of the parts before I start building. May work on the shell soon, but no idea how to start lmao.

Its Krylon Fusion "Textured Sparkle" with shellac over it. It gives a sort of grippy surface, and looks like a Norton sharpening stone. I think the shellac should help it hold up to daily wear/tear.

Angelecig was the place I got them.

On the peko, just get it looking like you want and jump in. I have built around a half dozen and it doesn't take but a few minutes to build them. I start at the switch parts and do the entire top, then build the rest.

I ordered the one with SS pin too! And a black cap all came to about $12! Won't get it til about 6 months from now but heck yeah!!
Another question.. just got krylon 1311 matte, my mod is already together and I've been Vaping it. Cause I couldn't wait. But now that I have that do you think it would pose a problem to my button if I sprayed over it lightly? Like what if the button starts sticking!? And the 510 and internals... I really don't want to take it all apart but what do y'all think? Maybe I'll just spray the body and maybe nail polish the top and button so it doesn't get stuck? Comments appreciated.

I would tend to agree with you on this, but do keep in mind the FT version isn't a 1:1 clone. The AFC is different on the clone and you can already see by the pic of the black delrin cap all the burrs on it. Just wait till you get it and drill it only to either burn up the insulator or wind up with a spinning post... Still, for $12 one would be crazy not to at least try one. I personally have never ordered from FT nor will I ever, just saying they have never had a quality part in their line....IMO

I love my Derringer, but I will never get rid of my Nuppin'... IMO the best atty that has been presented to us vapers in my 4yrs so far. I've been vaping the same setup for 3 months now since I received it. Coils and RxW have never been changed out yet...

For 12$ I don't care if I need to mod it up. I'll get it to work no doubt, i bottom fed most of my collection myself and haven't had problems. I have different size bushings and insulators that I can mock up.
..Now on to clear coat my PeKo!

Drunk J the one I ordered from FT claimed to be 1:1 clone... and the center post is SS. We will see how it looks in about 4 months haha. But yeah at 12$ you can get as many as you want and pass them around to friends if you wanted.

i did nail polish to one of mine - it has all worn off now with use.

a friend of mine is going to try the acrylic paints on hers when it arrives next week. dunno how that is gonna handle the wear 'n tear. tbc.

Sorry I didn't specify Drunk J, my total came to $12. I ordered the derringer 1:1 with SS post and an extra black POM cap. And paid for airmail.. so it came to $12 total. But yeah, can't get any cheaper than that.. well see if it's a bust, or not...

Yeah I actually just masked off and went for it. Light coats on the body, spacer and extra light coats on the top cap and button. And then turned the top cap/ button upside down and hung it so IF ANY extra clear coat got on there it wouldn't seep down and lock up my button.. I think all is well and my peko won't collect finger prints anymore
