Thanks. Why can't I get the pic to show up with flickr? That's odd.. it just pastes the URL not the IMG..

Here's another link, i figure out on Flickr how to get the posted on here tomorrow. I added some color!

Flicker is flaky ... but you can select share and get the img section out of the BBC code
like this

Finally got my first Peko up and running... mostly, lol.

I'll hold off on pics until I get some minor issues ironed out. My BF Derringer won't sit flush so I need to do some 510 tweaking on the Peko. I probably also need to tweak the switch since I'm getting some intermittent misfires. But, I love this thing. I'll be putting in another Sculpteo order in the next day or so. Can't wait to start on Peko #2. I just wish now I had purchased a half dozen parts kits from the co-op. I suspect two Pekos will be several short of the desired quantity.

Why do you think I ordered 4 kits, 5 FD 510s and 10 of the vented screws? Having (hoarding) extras is always good!

Are you using the "Atty" o-ring? I had to use it as well as really cranking down on the positive screw to get my derringer to fit. It has worked flawlessly since.

Got my Peko in today from Sculpteo. Man that was quick. Ordered, made, and shipped here in less than a week... I got the grey polished version and the only parts of it that seem polished is the bottom of the shell and the top of the top cap. Every thing else is like textured. Its all good though. I did notice while I was unpacking it that the tops of the buttons, were a lighter color than the rest of the parts, almost whitish grey. No biggie as I planned on painting them anyway. Overall I am quite happy with them so far. The fit of the internals and the shell were quite good. Actually a little play in them. I decided to only paint the outer parts and just seal the internals though. That way there won't be too much build up. First 2 coats are done for now. Will finish them up tomorrow. All I have left is to clear coat everything. I don't know if I can wait till the weekend to finish the build though. I want to finish it tonight...

I am using the o-ring. I cranked it down as far as I was comfortable. I was fairly toasted during initial assembly though. I've been liking it too much to mess with it, even with the Derringer riding a little high. I'll likely wait until my second shell has arrived before I fix this build.

Looking forward to pics! I was on the fence between gray and black.

I may build one if I can get a custom wrap:

Print Designs

Worth considering.

Snag some free 3M Di-noc vinyl samples here:

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/...nishes/1Surface-Finishes?N=7569418+2891&rt=c3

IIRC, they are 8"x10" sheets. You can order up to 5 samples, two of each. Wood grain, metallic, carbon fiber, etc. Free shipping as well and they usually arrive in a couple of days.

edit:

I put a 3M Di-noc CF sample on my Super T Workhorse just to see how well the material applied:

Hey Mark, you're getting the link and that comes from the share button so since the app doesn't appear to have the bbc code selectable ... Just add square bracket [ followed by img close square bracket and past your URL to the pic. Then close it off with the same but add a slash right in front of img or use the bbc helper tags in taptalk

Thanks a million!
Didn't think it was that simple to add brackets.
Cheers.
