My computer has crapped out, so I use tapatalk for most forum activity. I have limited computer facetime, mostly for schoolwork, so I use tapatalk to supplement it quite a bit. That's what you'll get for not using the full version.....lazy ECFers!

Yes...Printed Electric Knock Out, but that takes too long to type.
#1311 is just to seal the surface. You can contact OCD Mods and ask for a quote. I would have the surface fully prepared prior to sending it to them. Cerakote goes on very thin. What you send them is what you get back, so any print lines, or surface defects will show through. The smoother the better. I seal all part after receive them and clean them from loose powder. Then do you surface prep. Its worth the extra time.
Cerakote is extremely durable. Once you Cerakote, you probably will never need to coat again. You really only need to coat the exposed surfaces, (if the internals are sealed), but that a personal preference thing if you want everything coated and may cost a little extra, so make sure you ask them to quote both. I would also make sure that the parts have good play so incase you do get extra thickness on the internals from the Cerakote, it doesnt become an issue.
For Cerakote, do your homework on colors
Swatches do not accurately reflect the actual color
Go here to research, Cerakote Coatings: Finishes
look at the color swatch and examples they show for the color
