Paging Mr. Mundy. Alexander Mundy to the white courtesy phone please!

Sorry, working in the field all waking hours currently. I have not put one together "stock" nor is my OliveR "stock" so I can't give a true comparison. Also I kept the fuse link in OliveR which is the largest voltage drop in it aside from battery internal resistance. I can tell you that with the Rossum wire in place of the bolted together pieces and the Mundy magnets, Reo pin, and 10 gauge wire soldered in place of the brass threaded rod and nuts they are very very low resistance mods. Don't remember the number I got off the top of my head (it's in the beta discussion somewhere) but it might be days or weeks before I have time to look or measure again.

Man I sure hope this mod is everything I want it to be. Those two just look the perfect size. I can imagine having one of these at work, in the car, one in my wife's purse. I've just got to figure out a way of capping whatever topper I put on there so no juice would leak out and it would be the perfect pocket friendly device.

I can't wait to start getting the parts for this. It's going to be an agonizing wait. How long does it usually take shapeways from the time you order till it lands in your hands? or I guess I should say what's the average time to wait?

Wow that's really cool, I'm a huge fan! Can you give me a ballpark idea on the price for all the parts?

Stick around. I think there's going to be a group buy for parts. As for the 3d printed body and internals, you can contact Gdeal so you can purchase it from shapeways.

I'm not much of a mech fan but this one's just so cute, I couldn't help myself. The wait isn't that bad at all from shapeways. About a couple of weeks for the strong white flexible SWF. It gets longer when you start opting for the metallic finish, polished, metal rings, etc.
As for leaking issues, shouldn't be a problem if you squonk just right. I always carry napkins just in case.

You won't have to cap anything, when you Squonk you only really need to get the juice up to saturate your wicks then the excess juice is sucked back down, usually even if you Squonk and put it away, Pocket, purse, or upside down, it shouldn't leak. I carry my feeder upside down and backwards without any leaking. I don't think this would be any different.
