I know some Shapeways prints have been less than optimal lately, but these 2 came out flawless. Sanding to fit took about 30 minutes for both, while watching TV. A bit of clear matte Krylon to seal, let them dry overnight, and built them this evening while watching TV in about 3 hours- would have been half that without the TV. That included modding the bottles to be REO-style, modding 2 Amazon vented screws.

The second one took about half the time to build as the first one. I did it without a tutorial, just some pictures and schematics from Gdeal.

I all but abandoned mechs a while back, having kept only my one GP Paps Lux. I will be using these heavily, and building more, just too easy.

One more pic just in. Kataphratos wasnt sure if he could post this yet, but I thought it would be cool to share. The internal structure which holds the battery and juice bottle is attached to the top cap. The top cap slides up and out of the main body shell to change the battery and for bottle refills. So there is little bonus feature to keep the top on nice and tight.....
