Sculpteo just cancelled both pieces. Apparently neither can be ordered in Alumide as a single piece.

ect..... it seems like my polished plastic one is still being worked on though...
I just added all the individual parts in Alumide to the cart rather than the "package" and it's still about $24 cheaper than shapeways.
Yea...so really sorry about that guys. I updated the site to remove Alumide as a grouped part option. Alumide is treated differently than Plastics by Sculpteo. So if you want Alumide, it needs to be ordered separately. I dont know why they would offer it as an option if they wont do it....Anyway, hope it wasnt too much of a hassle.....
I would assume so. The email says only 1 Alumide object per 3d file. The ring and buttons are a "package" also.
Anyone have one of those 10% off coupon codes they can pass along? My order is going to be about $22 more now and it would be nice to knock that down a little.

I was sent a 10% off coupon that I never received. Got a support email in to try and solve it before I order more. Meanwhile.... my polished plastic Pekochu parts are purportedly printing. That's 6P Printing folks. It's got to be fast and/or tinted yellow.
I am about to order a "Pekochu" or two....

Happi, I will post up the parts list shortly. Proetus is looking at interest for a co-op on the mod hardware. (check that section). I will post up the parts after he gets clearance and completes his purchases, etc...
I have been swamped this week so I havent been able to pull together a formal build doc., but i did post on the key assembly points earlier.
Basic steps.
I dont have a build doc for the device right now but its really not that difficult to put togetherHere are a couple of assembly steps from a build.
Parts from the first post: They are all assembled, just with out any of the printed parts.
First tip is to get these two parts assembled and tight at the correct angle. The large hole lug will go around the FD connector and the smaller lug bridges over to the fire pin screw/nut under the top cap. I match the angle in the space in the internal part where its going to be placed, then tighten it up, then recheck the fit.
I then insert that assembly through the opening in the internal and tighten the firing pin screw/nut.
Then with the 4mm nut glued into the fire button and the spring in place (or magnets), I collapse the top cap onto the internal and pinch it tight while screwing the fire button to the firing pin. Still pinching...I then install the 510. The large 510 nut compresses the two pieces together. I use that quarter to turn the 510.
Also look at the placement of the brass bar and the brass nuts, I get them into the general position of where they need to be, but dont tight then up until after I have the 510 in place. Do the initial positioning of the bar by getting the bottom of the brass bar even with the base of the printed internal part. Then the other solder lug on the brass bar will go around the vented screw and will be held in place between the ss nut and the white delrin insulator in the 510. After I get the 510 all set up, I will then adjust the top nuts so that the bar goes across horizontal and tighten those nuts.
A full build doc is on my list of things to do...but these are most of the key assembly points.
Two magnets get placed here.
Other than showing a couple more specifics, thats really it. Its not that complex. I took care of all the hard stuff in the design and alignment of the printed parts. Cheers.

Note sure what white block you are referring to, but there is no fuse in the device.
I believe you're referring to the bent metal clip for the negative end of the battery. It's just the negative contact.
OK, I won't rush you....are we there yet?
I am not sure about the coop efforts, never participated in one and quite frankly those couple of parts are like 20 bucks. In a coop it may or may not drop to 12. Nothing I am would be writing home about......
That spring, is that one of those that collapses in case of a short by any chance? I think the ones offered in the "repair" kit for a REO are like that.

It's not the cost of the parts that's the killer, but the MOQs and shipping costs from the various vendors.
The spring is not part of the circuit in this mod.
