Yeah BigB, i don't mind the tiny space in between... I prefer no ring. But my white one needs the ring because my magnets were placed in far enough and the gap is probably 3mm. That was my first Peko build and a noob move on not pressing magnets in completely before glue.

Cool thanks man. I'll have to try both before I glue. Can't wait for mine to get here. Still waiting for her to start printing.

I wouldn't necessarily say the Peko is a Reo slayer, but it is a great device for what it is... The Reo is just a rock solid device through and through. I don't think I will ever get rid of my lone grand that I have currently. The Peko on the other hand works very well and on par with the Reo, but I'm dreading the first drop from the roof or a ladder this spring and summer... God forbid either of my Peko's get run over by the riding mower like my Reo did last year. It came out with just a couple of cuts in the body and vaped very well after. I don't think the Peko would come out of that scenario very well....just saying.

I have to agree. The Peko is an awesome mod, I have two. But a REO slayer? As muzic said, drop them both from a ladder and who's gonna win?

True, but you just have to get replacement shell and you're in business

Reo is a tank and is very good at that. Reo can be purchased ready to go with no modding skills necessary. Got my start in bottom feeders with one. Downside was that being in construction and out in all kinds of weather all day my fingers and thumb develop cracks at the ends in the winter. Squonking the Reo became painful. After I got my Dibi with the squonk hole on the side I was in heaven squonking with the inside of my finger instead of the end. Peko follows suit. I use my Dibi when not at work and my Pekos go to work with me. I can replace them at a fairly rapid pace. Still got my VV Reo I converted to an SX350 board but don't use it much. Each has it's place and is great at what it is intended for.
