I am using the flat top that comes with the Phoenix bottom coils and I have a tendency to bite down on the tip and I've had the little top pop out several times. Luckily, I haven't swallowed (or inhaled) any yet...

I was wondering if it might be possible to come up with some sort of protective sleeve that would hold the top on yet still be flexible for us gnawers? I guess I'm suggesting a decorative condom (ok that just sounds weird ) that would slide down to the metal ring, but removable so it's reusable and still makes it easy to check fluid levels.

I'd love different colors or something to add a bit of bling.

As a short-term fix, could you just punch a hole in a carto-condom and put that over the end? The I agree anything that comes in multiple colors (to color code my juice) would be much appreciated!
