I ordered a 510 kit from Electronicstix.com. It was their Electron 510. My first battery died, and I'm trying to recharge it. But it seems the battery is either incompatible with the charger I received, or I'm using it improperly. The charger has a red-to-green light to differentiate dead battery and fully charged. It's green (meaning fully charged), but it is still dead (LED flashes 10 times). Any tips? There doesn't seem to be anything in the manual.

Your battery might actually be fully charged, or completely dead :)

I'm thinking you need to clean your contacts. Take a tissue and wet it with alcohol, wipe down the contact inside the battery, and wipe down the threads. Do the same with the charger, as well as your atomizer. You will probably be very surprised at the amount of black stuff that ends up on the tissue, even when the contacts looked clean from the start.

Try plugging it back into the charger, and see if it goes into charge mode (red light)

If it stays green, try putting it back onto your atty and try vaping, see what happens.

Does your atomizer work on the other battery? If no then maybe suspect the atomizer

If yes - do you have auto batteries? You can kill them with juice leaks. Buy manual batteries. Meanwhile look on/in the threaded end of your battery. Any juice residue? If so, clean it up, make sure it's dry (ad check the charger also) and try charging again. A film of dried juice can keep a battery from being sensed as present or charged.

And if their stuff isn't labeled Joye, I recommend buying real Joye parts elsewhere like Cignot.com and LiteCigUSA.net. There are some inferior clone parts around. When places are selling Joye they usually call it Joye in the listing

Also - if you are charging on a PC's USB, I recommend a good 4-port 2amp USB to AC charger like the Rosewill USB 4-port travel adapter on NewEgg. Somebody was charging their PCC on a computer and killed it by getting a static shock touching their PC.
