I bought a 5 pack of blank Cool Carts, and I get little to no vapor out of any of them. If I don't inhale, I can blow out a little vapor. But if I inhale, nothing. Plus the throat hit is rather harsh feeling, and makes me cough. And I have tried them with different juices, different brands....same results. And I'm using the new Diamond series battery with them. Also, they start feeling warm when I vape, which I don't experience with the Bloog cartos.

The most important though, is that the lack of any vapor, and a painful throat hit makes these pretty unusable for me. Which really stinks, because I like the different colors.

Is this normal with these?

Hmmm? That is odd Newme, especially since your getting a snap, crackle and pop. The only thing I can think of when you mentioned no vapor is a pushed down post on your battery. When you first received you battery did you use it right away or did you put it on a recharger? Due to a lack of vapor I'm thinking it's a post connection issue. Is it just the Cool Cartos from the pack of 5 or is this happening with other cartos on your new batt?

Are you open to attempting a fix?

When I use the battery with a Bloog carto it works awesome! Actually I like the Diamond battery better.

That is a killer rose pic Newme! I think we are of the same mind Sallyem, although I wonder if those bloog cartos have pushed down the post on the batt. Either/or if lifting the posts on the carto or the batt doesn't work.....

I used the cool cart first and had trouble from the beginning. I didn't want to use the Bloog because I got a pretty gold colored cool cart to go with my purple diamond battery. But I finally tried it and they work together great!

I did try the fix, it kind of, sort of helped. I still get the crackling and popping noise, it still gets warm to the touch, but I can get a little more vapor out of it. Though I really have to draw on it for quite a while. It's really "airy"? Not hard to draw on but because of the airiness (is that a word? LOL) it's harder to get enough vapor. Kwim?

And thank you for the compliment on my rose!

I've had a 100+ Cool Cartos (gold is my color too) and never had a dud, but I think that might be a possibility. I was taking a long shot that perhaps your Carto was flooded, sometimes a Passthrough being 5v will wake them up so to speak. Sorry to hear it Newme, that's a bummer. Copy and paste the link below into your browser, you can go into Live Chat and perhaps Bobby or whoever is online right now can help you or get you a new box of Cartos.

I've found that if my cartos are wet enough to gurgle, they're too wet to produce good vapor. The juice ends up cooking, but with no appreciable vapor coming out.

Snap, crackle, and pop are how I know it's working well... I tend to run my carts a little drier for this reason. Perhaps you've got some juice clogging up the center hole? Trying blowing it out a little into a paper towel - If you get lots of dark juice coming out it's probably safe to say the carto was too wet.

I'll also add that I've had a carto here and there that just doesn't function right from the get-go. I chalk it up to failure rate and pop into a new one. It doesn't happen often, but from time to time it pops up.
