Hi everyone,
I'm new to vaping. Started 1 month and 4 days ago and switched from analogs right away. I purchased a Protank Mini II from a brick and mortar vape shop and it has been working out great. I love it!
I wanted a second one for a backup, so I ordered one from fasttech. It arrived yesterday, and the first thing I noticed was that the gap between the glass tank and the center post is more narrow than my old one. After adding my liquid, I was only getting marginal vapor produciton, and then after a while, just burnt flavor. I thought I may have gotten a dud coil, so I replaced it. I noticed that the coil flavor wicks were dry. I added a couple drops of liquid to the new coil and enjoyed about 4-5 hits, but then it went dry again. If I let it sit a while, I can get 4-5 hits from it, but then it will go dry.
The two attached pictures are of the bottom of the tank. In the second picture, the tank on the left is the bad one, with the tank on the right as reference so you can see the difference in the gap between the glass and the center post. There's almost like a second lip around the tank.
Did I get a fake Kanger from fasttech? They advertised it as genuine Kanger.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
