So basically i have bought this kit:

Revolution S E-cig Kit and E-liquid

and ive set it up and first it was gargling so i thought maybe it was overprimed so i tookt he coil out and tribed to dab the excess off, and now its just having a hissy fit one minute its gargling then the next its working good but its putting eliquid in my mouth without me even feeling it. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Gurgling is usually caused by not enough power to completely vaporize the juice in the wick/coil
I would try bumping up power +5w and try it again..and if it still gurgles try another +5w...gurgle should disappear ...hope this helps

I don't have any particular experience with that setup, but generally speaking the troubles you're having can be traced to a few things.

First, leaks. Make sure everything is tightened up nice and snug, including the coil into the base. Take a good look at the o-rings. If any of them look like they have any cracks or chunks missing, they're not going to make a good seal.

Second, air flow. If the air flow is set too tight, creating more of a vacuum in the coil "chamber", it's going to draw more e-liquid in, causing gurgling and potentially e-liquid in your mouth.

Third, power level. Some atomizer setups are simply meant for more power, no matter what you do. If it's designed for a 40 watt power level, it's made to (theoretically) draw enough e-liquid into the coil area to keep up with a 40-watt setting. If you vape that at 20 watts, you could potentially get twice as much e-liquid into the coil area than you really need.

Fourth, VG/PG ratio. Higher PG e-liquids are thinner, and will more easily enter the coil area. Using a thicker e-liquid could help slow down the flow.

Fifth, it could just be a bad coil - made improperly at the factory with too little/poorly distributed wicking material.

It's hard to say without actually taking a look, but any (or a combination) of these could be the source of your problem.

Good luck!

Welcome. :)

The good news is that although you have basically paid a premium for your hardware the mod itself is a good product. :thumb:

That being said, it is a Cubis pro atomizer and, well... my Cubis have been thrown away.

The coils you need to buy are prone to gurgles and all sorts of nasty behavior. Why?.... well I don't really know, but the main design feature of these tanks is to use "upside down" cup technology... they gurgle like crazy.

Incidentally... your shop wants to charge you £4.99 for two. That's £12.50 for 5.
I paid about £4.80 for a 5-pack. Yes... they were genuine.

I never solved the annoying business with these tanks. I tried for many months. The best thing I can advise is get another tank.

The 'brand' of vaping products we are talking won't easily accept that anything can possible be wrong with their technology. Another reason not to shop with them unless you know what you are doing.

Sorry to be negative, but if there was a fix, I'd be telling you.

Good luck.

Thanks for your replies guys, so i tried playing with the power and i got the spitting to stop but im still getting a feel strong taste in my mouth as though theres actually e-liquid in my mouth and im not sure if this is normal and im just not used to powerful flavours or if theres actually eliquid coming through. It doesnt feel like im inhaling liquid but more like when i breathe it in my saliva turns into eliquid.

I've never heard of that before..I found that a tank either gurgles or it doesn't...no in-between, lol
I've experienced spit back when dripping a high PG juice, but not in my subtanks, or RTA's
What kind of vapor or cloud do get vaping your set-up?

Im now getting quite a good vape out of it at 44w but I dont understand this since the 0.5ohm coil is rated at 15-30w

It's hard to say what's going on. I would suggest something strange is up since I couldn't get those coils up to even 25w.
Is it possible you have a new coil design and not the SS316 Cubis coils. They can't do 44w...
Maybe the new ones can?

And my ecig definetly says 44w, was gurgling at lower wattages.
If your coils is flooded, then you can blast it for a while sure. :)
If you are using it permanently at 44w then keep an eye on it.

I saw your link to TW by the way. Please don't keep paying £4.99 for two coils. I beg you.

For five coils;
£12.50 TW.
£8.50 on Amazon.
£5 from China.

The choice is yours.

What is the PG/VG ratio of your juice?

Honestly it sounds like your juice is too thin. Too much PG allowing the liquid to flow through the wick too fast. Higher wattage will help since it will vaporize the larger amount of juice faster, but if the juice is too thin then that is the real problem.

They are 50/50 liquids.

Well, I can't speak for Amazon, but I have packets of real coils upstairs (from China) doing nothing with the scratch codes and everything going on.

I just hate TW... it's nothing personal. I can live with the shops being expensive (that's all well and good) but when I hear people mail-ordering stuff and knowingly choosing to pay shop prices despite the fact they order them using their laptop/phone... well, I just want to bang my head against a brick wall.

I bought some Tron-S tanks from the Joyetech Outlet store (part of TW/Vapour Brands). They were £6.25 each.
If you get them in the shop... well, that's £50.... £50!!!

How much would a second tank cost you? £25.

or, instead...

Yes.

I'm not saying you should buy one from China, but just be aware.

Joyetech products are hard to source outside of the "network"...... So a UK one might be almost as much regardless of where you source it. It's not really the price, it's not even the shops, it's just the paying high street rate for ordering online.
