Hey guys, I have a terminator that I bought yesterday. It was working great the first time I filled it, no leaks or anything. Then today I pulled everything apart to burn the ceramic and clean it, and when I put it back together and filled my tank, all the juice leaked out of the bottom where the two air holes are on the 510 connector.

I checked to see if all of my gaskets are there, and they are. I have the super small one that goes inside the metal piece that holds the ceramic, the slightly larger one that fits over the post, the one that fits over the mouth piece, and of course the two that seal the tank. I am really at a loss here. the liquid leaks out so fast it will drain a full tank in about 2 or 3 minutes...

Please help!

Did you make sure to close the juice control/mouth piece all the way before filling? Also sometimes when I close the juice control too tight, the locking ring gets caught on it and opens with the mouth piece, causing massive flooding. Also make sure you aren't screwing the two top caps on as one, screw them on separately after filling the tank. If you have everything set up properly I can't think of anything else. I have absolutely no leaking/gurgling/flooding in mine even without any wick going down the channels. Hope you can figure it out!

Just a question for clarification. Is it a genuine terminator or a Tobeco clone of the terminator? When you put it all together do the base, tank and cap all appear to be seamless, or are there somewhat distinct joints between the 3 parts? The other ody clone made by Tobeco has very poor tolerances and tends to leak much more than the real terminators. I have both and my terminator-c doesn't leak at all, maybe a drop overnight in the 510 connection, but the Tobeco clone I have to add extra o-rings on either side of the ceramic housing nut to keep it from leaking.

When I had a bad leaking problem, I went to wiki to look at the parts diagram of the odysseus. Make sure your 2 bottom o rings aren't switched. They are close to the same size and when putting it back together, the right o ring has to be between the + pin and ceramic housing. Then the other o ring goes at the bottom of the + pin. When filling make sure the mouthpeice is screwed completely shut against the ring. Juice flow closed. The topcap has 2 parts and an o ring replace the topcap then put the o ring over the mp and push it downtowards the topcap. Replace the topcap ss ring and screw it in place making sure the o ring is going down straight. Screw the ss ring on tight to form a vacuum. One thing I aiways do after replacing wick and or coil. I juice up the wick and coil. Start vaping. leaking might br slight. I just blow out the excess juice but don't open juice control yet. That usually works for me.

What stopped the leaking on mine (and it was bad when I first set it up -- sucker drained all over my batteries) was just not trying to pin the ground wire between the adjusting ring and the base. As long as I just left it on top of the wick channel, so it would contact the cap when it was screwed on, no leaks. Haven't lost a drop since.

It's also very important to keep the juice control closed when filling. Without that you'll force air in when opening it, and the pressure can cause a leak. If it's closed, and you then open it, you cause a vacuum that keeps everything in the tank.

I had that happen to me today. I thought I had juice control closed and I didn't. This flooded the wick also the was a bunch of juice in the battery connection cup. I cleaned the cup closed the juice control took a few fits till the gurgling went away, than I opened the juice control a quarter turn and haven't had a problem since. I have the terminator c though, but I bet the same thing can happen to both.

How? I usually have it completely off! If the juice control is controlled by the mouthpiece and the mouthpiece goes on last after it is filled, how do you do that??? Thanks,

What? The mouthpiece definitely does NOT go on last. Everything should be assembled except for the top cap, and the mouthpiece should be screwed ALL the way down. Fill it up, then close everything up nice and tight. Then you start taking your drags and don't open the juice control at all until your hits start drying out, because somehow even when you fill it and have it closed, some still seems to reach the coil.

Again. Assemble everything except the top, top cap. Close the juice control all the way down. Fill tank. Place top cap on, make sure everything is nice and sealed up. Start vaping until it feels like it's starting to go dry. THEN you start opening the flow up. Don't open the juice control up right off the bat, wait until you need to.
