The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
What about running the wire through from the middle towards the outside instead of the normal way? Would have to be really careful with the tails though to keep from shorting. It's that or mark the right spot remove the post and just drill a new hole entirely.

I've found one of mine was way out of line but a gentle turn and it's pretty close to where I want it. Out a little but close enuf I can live with it. I was contemplating trying to make about a 3-4 ohm s shaped coil for my vv so it may be perfect for that

How hard is it to adjust the orientation of one of the holes - e.g. to twist the longer pole with the tiny hole. I don't want to break the thing off, but the left hole is pointing around 7 o'clock and the hole on the right is almost facing into the rim of the base. It's kind of ridiculous to have to run that much extra wire to go around the corner and stick into the hole. It takes the last wrap way out of place and gets in the way of the wick.
You really have to drill it IMO. I think twisting could end bad. Or not... I haven't seen how it's attached. Was a PITA getting the needle bit started but, doable.

Figured out my issue. Was getting clouds but, not the flavor I'm use to from my other atomizers with the same setup. Had my coil sitting too high off the deck. Content now...

I'm not putting a drill to a $50 atomizer that's smaller than a dime. If I had access to a machine shop to do that properly, I would build one out of stainless steel or Ti, with the posts facing the right way, and with holes that I could thread 27g wire through. Just sayin'.

Rob has offered to bore out the hole, which is very cool of him and I am going to take him up on it.

I just wish my new RM2 was just like the first one I bought not 3 weeks ago. Rob puts a ton of work into these, and the cost is totally justified, but at the end of the day, this is a Chinese brass atty and the QC that falls outside of what Rob does is uneven at best. My first RM2 was plug and play. This one is not.

I LOVE my Reos. I am $400 into Reo gear just over the past 3 weeks. I believe in the product, and I promote it because I think it is the best mod out there. Rob's customer service is obviously top notch, but the idea that you should get a brand new piece of gear and immediately have to put it on a drill press in order to modify it and make it work is absurd.

Agreed, I was little disappointed in mine as well. You would use a swivel pin vice to start by hand and then a dremel to finish. Swivel pin vice is just a fancy name for a hand drill. Good thing to have with vaping. Let's you widen air intakes, drill out center posts on rba for bottom feeding, so on..I didn't look for the best price but, here's a link to what you're looking for. I'd buy extra #60 bits.

The squid rda fits the REO grand if anyone is interested. Drilled out the center post with a #60 bit. Have a thread in liquid feed apv with more pics..
