You really have to drill it IMO. I think twisting could end bad. Or not... I haven't seen how it's attached. Was a PITA getting the needle bit started but, doable.
Figured out my issue. Was getting clouds but, not the flavor I'm use to from my other atomizers with the same setup. Had my coil sitting too high off the deck. Content now...
I'm not putting a drill to a $50 atomizer that's smaller than a dime. If I had access to a machine
shop to do that properly, I would build one out of stainless steel or Ti, with the posts facing the right way, and with holes that I could thread 27g wire through. Just sayin'.
Rob has offered to bore out the hole, which is very cool of him and I am going to take him up on it.
I just wish my new RM2 was just like the first one I bought not 3 weeks ago. Rob puts a ton of work into these, and the cost is totally justified, but at the end of the day, this is a Chinese brass atty and the QC that falls outside of what Rob does is uneven at best. My first RM2 was plug and play. This one is not.
I LOVE my Reos. I am $400 into Reo gear just over the past 3 weeks. I believe in the product, and I promote it because I think it is the best
mod out there. Rob's customer service is obviously top notch, but the idea that you should get a brand new piece of gear and immediately have to put it on a drill press in order to modify it and make it work is absurd.
