I received my Vivi Nova v2.5 yesterday and have been using it on my chrome lavatube mini. I found the right voltage and was getting plenty of vapor and good throught hit, then all of a sudden it stopped working, it felt like there was some sort of blockage and I could not draw though the tank, and I could see vapour building up inside the tank, so I thought there must be some sort of blockage, so I took the tank appart gave it a good clean, blew though it and all seemed well, put it back on my lavatube and same thing, no matter what I did it was too tight to draw, I was ab out to give up when I had a thought I'll put my 510 to eGo Adapter on my lavatube and straight away it worked like it did when I first started to use it yesterday WHY?????

It dose not make any sense, the Vivi Nova was working fine yesterday and most of today, but now the only way I can use it is if I put a 510 to eGo on my Lavatube, this is very frustrating, if someone can throw some light on this matter that would be great.

Thanks

Yes thats what I thought, but what I can't understand is that this problem only just came up, as I have said been using it for a day and a half with no problem until now.

When u first screwed it on you may have not got it on all the way. As you used it it may have just turned slightly closing off the airholes. I've had the same excact issue with mine as well. The real question now, is it really a V2.5 or a V2. The V2.5 has the holes on the base while the V2 has the airholes on the connector itself. I ordered a V2.5 and ended up getting a V2. make sure you really did get the V2.5 and not the V2. Also a side note alot of ppl have had the same issue you are having, using an adapter seems to be the common fix for the issue.

I have had the same problem using the Vision eGo Clearomizers on a KGO! I put a 510-510 adapter on it to get a looser draw. It worked OK for maybe a week & then it wouldn't draw very well. It worked OK on my eGo- T battery, but not the KGO, without the adapter. I just keep a couple of different adapters around for such emergencies.

Not true. Both the V2 and 2.5 both have the air holes at the top of the 510 connector. Only previous versions had them in the sides of the base. Only way to tell the difference in the V2 and 2.5 is that 2.5 has the long wicks.

This is the Gotvapes V2.5, if you look at the base you can see where the airhole is just below the "V" in Vivi. The V2 has it under the base where the battery itself connects.

My V2 also came with long wicks, which I ended up cutting down anyways.

You can see a better pic by checking out there site and clicking on the pic to make it bigger.

This is a the discription of the v2.5 from the GotVapes site:

"The V2.5 is totally Updated and has many changes like the AIRHOLE which is now on the connector screw portion that screws onto your device and not on the base like in version 1, it also has a new top base plus totally new coil heads which have been redesigned and the new non leeching tube - Introducing the Updated V2.5 of the World's Most Popular Replaceable Coil Head Tank System. This version has been rebuilt from scratch Featuring the latest production v2.5 heads and NON leaching tubes brought to you by The Vision Team & Gotvapes"

I hope this helps to clear things.

I'm pretty sure I have the 2.5 vivi nova (long wicks and air holes at the top of the 510 connector) though the box was labeled "v2". I have no draw issues with the nova on my lavatube, or my other battery. Though I have a "late model" unbranded LT, which may have a shallower connector? When the nova is all the way tightened on my LT, there's about a 1mm gap between the top of the LT and the bottom of the VN. The draw is quite "airy" which I like. The slot in the center post is lined up with the air holes, and has stayed that way... not sure if that has anything to do with it. I've seen several posts (and videos) where people reported needing to use a 510-510, or pull the post out, and leave it loose, to have it draw correctly. Not sure if that was with the v2 or the v2.5.
