My secret is not to overfill...and refill more often.

I don't do more than 15-17 drops at a time. However everyone does it differently.

Can I get just a little more clarification? I would love to try this refill method, but do you remove the mouthpiece cap and gasket, then press into the fluid-filled condom? Why is it better than the battery end? Sorry if you've posted this elsewhere, just hoping to get a quick summary in the short time I have to check the forum.

If you refill in the Battery End using the Condom Method - Wouldn't you have that Gurgling noise when vaping since some will still be in the Air flow whole where the battery end is ?

And wouldn't that increase your chances of it leaking into your Manual/Automatic Battery hole and may make the battery stay on at random times if too much goes in it ?

I remove the cap, break it if I have to. Take one of the caps from my empty non premium carto, I use the Syringe and spin method, I get a full 1ml of juice into the premium carto. The vapor is about the same using on premium juice, the flavor is less than premium but more than regular. I would have to assume thats because the premiums burn more juice.

I get that there are other ways to fill them without removing the caps, but what about cleaning them? They can't be boiled if one can't remove the caps. I've heard that some people soak them in alcohol, but can that be done effectively with the caps on?

And yeah, I know some people aren't interested in cleaning them, but I'd prefer to be able to clean occasionally.

I have seen vids of peeps using a needle-less syringe to flush water through cartos - granted they remove the mouthpiece end-cap and use the rubber O-ring to make a good seal. I do not have the materials to test this, but could this method be adapted for use with the end-cap still on? Just a thought...

Some also soak them in everclear or vodka and blow them out.

give er a try jam! let us know how it works for you. As much advice as we can give, you gotta find your own system, but you will!

Thanks Born, but I already had a system - filling from the bottom up using a syringe; problem is, this new technique is WAY quicker and easier! I had never thought to try this, but it works great. As long as you get the right amount in the condom (just a little trial and error), and don't get greedy trying to fill the carto all the way up, it's a piece of cake. It took me all of 20 minutes to reload about 20 cartos, instead of about 5 using my previous technique = at least 4x faster and far less hassle. It does waste a drop or two of juice when cleaning and blowing out after filling, but as long as you have a good supply......WAIT, wheres the juice!! (HAD to get that in there somehow )

Thanks to all the posters once again, I seem to learn something new nearly everyday around here. I wish I could hang out on the forum more often, but thank god some of you are frequently online to answer every conceivable question or problem anyone could have - day or night. Once again, this board and the people here are ridiculously wonderful :) Oh, and so is V4L!

Glad the links helped y'all! That method is actually what convinced me to try cartos; it just seemed like such a simple system.

I've got a folder full of links for helpful ECF threads. :D I've been collecting them as I come across them "just in case."

Thanks, RanVapor. I found out that I got lucky on at least part of my new cartos with the easy to remove end cap, but I still haven't checked the others.

I have no prob. breaking the end caps off I've got plenty to go around. I just have had a couple where the very top breaks off and some of the white plastic is still stuck on the inside where as I can't put on a new end. I can do the condom hole thing and for around the house it's no biggie although I really don't like the feel of it. Anyway it sucks when it doesn't all come out and I don't know what to do about it... I guess just something I'll have to deal with. When I get my Mocha cartos I'll just have to do the condom refill method... meh.. refilling them that way just doesn't seem to last as long.

For me, that's good to know. I've never used the other ways to refill cartos, so if my refilled ones don't last as long as the pre-filled ones, I won't think anything of it. But with those easy to remove new end caps, I may try one of the other ways, too. Holding the carto at 45 degrees and dripping into it only starts to seem like a serious pain when it begins with finding tools to remove tiny little pieces.

THIS IS LIFE SAVING!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

Between this, leadford's comments and all other encouraging comments I have found the perfect solution to refilling PREMIUM cartos, when the caps don't come off.

THANKS FOR SAVING MY DAY!!!
What a ROCKIN group of folks!!!!

that's been around for a month or so now. I use the condom method.
I posted that here a couple times.

it should have been a sticky.

I have to agree they don't seem to last as long using the CCFM, but then again they're soo easy to refill it hasn't been bothering me. But in any case, I can only seem to get 15 or so drops in at a time. I'm not sure why I am getting the empty cart taste so soon if it's still half full. So, I'm going to start experimenting with giving it a Taryn spin and see if I can get more in that way.

I've tried all the methods now with the premiums. The needle refill makes the cartos hard to drag from permanently from what I can tell...I don't like the condom refill effects: a little messy and doesn't last long. I'm going back to breaking caps and using condoms as caps. Dripping works great in the premium cartos I am finding!!! The "Taryn Spin" works VERY WELL with the dripping on the premiums also from what I have tried.

One thing I don't like about the premium is the small batt-end hole. Blowing out is a chore...Now that I'm taking the caps off I guess I'll try the reverse blow-out tech. Running hot water through is also less effective due to small hole. Oh well!! I like em!!!!
