I had read that some people living in the US have had problems when ordering batteries such as your standard 18650 from suppliers in China because batteries are not supposed to be shipped via the airlines.

I want to order a replacement Innokin iTaste VV4 stick battery from fasttech since they are the cheapest I have found. Just wondering if I do order this battery from China, is there a good chance I will never receive it at my home in the US?

Thanks,
Ron

crxess .... You said that LiPo batteries are banned from air transport ... Isn't the built-in battery in the iTaste VV4 a LiPo battery?

Would it go from Hong Kong to the US in a container ship?

No, it will land travel to a location operating outside the treaty and be illegally shipped from there. Takes 30-45 days.(would be as fast by ship:lol:)

Is this the one you're looking to buy, Ron? $32.25 Authentic Innokin iTaste VV4-M Variable Voltage / Wattage 1000mAh Rechargeable Battery - 3.0-6.0V / 6.0-15W / w/ USB charging cable / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

If so, you might want to order here. Innokin iTaste VV 4 - Vspot Vapes

I ordered a half dozen of the V3s in original and nature series. One of THE best all around vendors ever. And I don't usually gush.

Thanks for the link ... very very good price!

But, I was looking for the VV4 in the shorter size .... They are either 680mAh or 750mAh (depending on who is selling it) ... And I can't figure out what the difference is between the 680 and the 750 ... there both the VV4

I thought they had an option now for faster shipping? And yes, some airlines are now transporting them.

Is is the most off/on setup I've ever seen...........but best to expect delays and be happily surprised.
Regulations on transport have not changed.:(

Kind of stupid considering, the only Aircraft fires have been On board and in use, installed Lithium cells running Aircraft electronics.

Oh, the lady in the post office told me last week that she checked on this and found many will know transport by air. USPS will now for 3 or less batteries.

IATA - Lithium Batteries

That was why she checked. I had shipped some batteries to a friend. Then I sold a couple pieces of vape gear and went back 2 days later. She had checked on a few things regarding the batteries, and that's what she told me. I didn't question her or verify it. She's the employee there, not me :)

I believe FastTech has sorted out what can be shipped, by which carriers. I have ordered several items with batteries from them, all have arrived, and although perhaps a bit slower than other stuff, none of it has taken an unusually long time to get here (maybe 3 weeks instead of 2).

(I was kind of ticked off that I had to wait longer for the micrometer, though, since it uses "coin-cell" batteries, on which, I believe there are no restrictions).

In any case, I believe FT has things covered. You should be confident that you will get what you ordered, and their checkout process won't let you pick a shipping method that doesn't work for what you ordered.
