Ive been trying to make a dual coil setup work in my stillare clone but it never seems to work like it should... I have 5 wraps around a 5/32 drill bit and one coil heats up much faster than the other every time i try. I have rebuilt it many times and it still hasnt worked for me.... Each side looks almost identical. Can someone help?

What's different about the two coils?

when you have enough posts you will be able to post a pic

you just have to keep working it every time I have that problem I always pinch the one that's heating up faster and it usually works itself out. post a pic of you build if you can make sure everything is working. hope it all works out.

best wishes :toast:
Got it working somewhat decent.. Still feel like it should be better. Ill post a picture but how do i do that?

I have a stillare and it rocks..

But in duals a good trick is leave a few mm on the leads and when you dry fire to test it and see one coil glowing faster, loosen the screws on that one and just nudge it out a tiny bit. This will add just a smidge to the coil length and help them even out.

Once set you can snip the leads if you want.
