Problems with high VG

Hey everyone, relatively new to vaping. Just over a year now. I have a pico with the cleito tank with a .4 coil. I am having a super hard time vaping high VG juice.
I do prime the coils and the cotton looks saturated before I try to vape it. There is no taste and I end up going through coils like crazy.
I did a little looking around and people suggested adding distilled water or 100% alcohol or even poking holes in the cotton. figured I'd ask just to make sure.
I'm using a popular brand from my local vape shop.
The juice is 85vg/15pg. I tried a 70vg/30pg and the taste is a little better but not where I'd like it. What am I doing wrong? I like to vape around 30w. I tried turning it up and down and it tastes burnt. Any tips? Maybe try the .2 coil instead?

Add Everpure which is close to 200 proof. If everpure is not available than try vodka.

I've found that adding water makes it more smoke or steamy, but to each there own.

I've had no trouble with the 0.4 coils, they actually seem to last longer than the 0.2 ones. My favorite are the 0.27s that come with the aspire k4 kit though, but lucky for me my local shop still stocks them

I have a Pico with the Melo III Mini and I have found that at time it tends to "Vapor Lock" and removing the top or just loosening it with allow the e-Liquid to saturate the coil which you notice a few air bubbles come from the coil. Might want to try and see if it helps your problem.
