Problems with new iAtty GGTS Base??!!

This is a question especially to Imeo and other iAtty GGTS base owners as well.
I got two of the bases from two different shops and they both arrived today.
BOTH iAtty bases do not fit to the old iAtty lower insulator.
Its impossíble to screw the insulator in. It is both bases the same sh...ame.
Tried using liquid as grease, tried using pliers... no chance at all.
A friend of mine has the same probs than me and even another guy I found on facebook.

I guess we might not be alone with this problem?

its the first time that I hear this Nook. Lower plastic doesnt fit at all? My Iatty GGTS base works exactly as it shoud work. Can you please make a video about it if its not very difficult for you?

In my case the lower plastic won't screw till the end, but after a good cleaning of the new base with soap, hot water and a toothbrush, everything was fine.
Maybe there were little remains in the threads, I don't know for sure, but the problem was solved.

Good Morning! I had to leave yesterday for a sleep.

Mine was the same too but the new delrin base I had purchased as a spare fitted fine seems like the threads have been changed slightly it has been a long time since production of the iatty.

Great Imeo, so I need one too. Yesterday my GGTS base arrives and I have the samr problem as above.

I have found a solution for the problem! you need a complete NEW iAtty plastic base they do fit but the used ones (dunno why) they do not fit.
