so I’ve gone through about 10 phix’s luckily I have a hook up at my shop so they just exchange it for me every time it stops working. After 10 I gave up and decided to try a smok priv v8. Literally 3 days later it stops working. Got a new battery, 5 hours later dead. Charged it for 2 and a half hours. Still dead. I give up on that, thinking about trying a jul.. opinions? I really liked the Phix because of the simplicity but I can’t deal with it anymore and a juul is basically the same thing but it’s more popular so maybe I’ll have better luck with it

Not trying to be too snarky....
1.) Are you for real? Since you are new -- had to ask
2.) How do you go through about 10 phix's? You have to charge it --it does stop after a while -- and you have to change the pods when it's empty. If you are truly serious maybe the store got a bad batch?
3.) So you went from a pod to a mod. That has removable batteries. Did you charge in an external charger?
4.) Hookup or not - is the shop reputable?

Yes - Juul is a pod too.

Juul is a pod, but I'm a bit concerned about you going through 10, yes 10 setups, and somehow not finding the magic thing YOU are doing to cause your vape to die. At 10, I don't care how bad the setup is, there is some sort of user error going on somewhere. The fact that your NEXT and yes, highly suspicious as far as QC but still does not ALWAYS fail in the first 15 minutes for many vapers.

You either have a dodgy shop, that is selling clones or fakes, OR you have a user error of some sort.

You are welcome to try and describe what happened (like all the things you did or did not do to have a spectacular failure rate, and it's probably some key step or something that you may be missing) and see if members can be of help.

But, I think it might be faster and more reasonable to google reviews for your devices on youtube plenty of reviewers will offer OPINIONS on your devices, but more importantly they will take you step by step on how to use them and get the most out of them.

I'm also going to suggest maybe a new vape emporium.

The juul is a pod. The juul is Relatively simple to operate, but if you get one I am STILL going to suggest watching 3 or 4 reviews on the Juul (they are out there) so that you learn to operate it safely.

Yes, mods die, but your batting record isn't stellar and I'm not trying to insult you, honestly, I watch reviews all the time on new devices to figure out how to operate them.

Best of luck,

Anna

Welcome to the ECF @Alexis Ann

To me, Smok and Phix are swimming somewhere horrible at the bottom of the ocean.

Juul is even lower in my opinion, not because it's a bad product but the business rationale behind it.

Consider buying a good make (Aspire would be good or maybe Innokin), a proven product and one that will not cost the earth and make you a slave to refills... which is what Juul does.

Juul is not welcome on these shores. I pray every day this 'success story' of tying people into proprietary, non-refillable and exorbitantly expensive products won't wash on the UK public.

I trust the British public not to fall for Juul. Maybe people in America have such high levels of disposable income they can waste a fortune and enjoy/accept/resign themselves to being slaves to corporations as we all were to big tobacco companies.

Yes... I am grumpy. Yes... this is an unsympathetic reply to a post that is clearly showing your deep frustration with certain vape products.

If I can list the companies I hate the most, Juul is in there. So is;
Vaporfi, V2, Greensmoke, Whitecloud, Apollo, ALL the non-refillable pod systems and some of the review sites as well who are just crooks.

Thankfully, I can sit back and not worry too much about the scene 3,500 miles away. I could let it go... but then I wouldn't be true to myself and a second-rate member of a community that looks after each other - because we DO need community to look after each other as ex-slaves to most evil corporations on the planet.

Actually, maybe Juul and Philip Morris could get together and start charging people for air and water. They are such saints of the world.

I vote Aspire today. Tomorrow it could be Innokin, maybe even Joyetech if I am a little intoxicated.

:)
