When i first got my prodigy about 4 moths ago it was giving off tons of vapor but now that its 4 months old it barely gives off much vapor at all. could it be i just need new batteries? I only recharge them once a day and it says they are rechargable 2000 times. why the lack of vapor?

Poor ground. The threads on the adapter and end cap build up corrosion over time. Clean them and lubricate with a little vegetable oil. Also the threaded connector on the adaptor builds up corrosion. Clean it with an eraser occasionally.

Whats the best way to clean the adaptor? I can't get mine clean... I've noticed the same thing on vapor.. I have an 801, and i always seem to get a "pool" of liquid that sits on top of the adaptor whenever i take the atty off. If I drip only a couple drops, I hear the atty "burning" a couple seconds after my drag and worry about frying another atty. So i have resorted to using a straw and placing it right over the bridge of the atty and dripping into the straw... 3 sometimes 4 drops. Has helped with the leaking of the atty but i still cannot get my adaptor completely clean...

With any all metal mod(where the tube/caps/adapter serve as a ground), what I do is use Noalox(Ideal brand). It's a conductive, anti seizing/anti-galling compound. You can but it at Loew's in the electrical section for very little cash. It works wonders for both stopping threads from seizing /cross threading and assisting conductivity.

Here's something to try, it happened to me just last week. I was getting light vapor and no throat hit, so the hunt commenced. First I tried the cleaning, new atomizer, and rechecking the contacts route, same results. Next I tried a pair of disposable CR123 batts (work great in a pinch), vapor back to normal, throat hit, it's all back. So now I'm ...... cause the batteries are only a week old. Charge the batteries, test with a multimeter, 3.72 volts. Hmmm good voltage, bad vaping. So now I think my charger is bad. On a whim I multimeter the wall wart, 12v just as it should be. 120mah, not nearly the stated 360mah. I dig around in the parts box and I find a suitable wall wart, 12v, 720mah. Now all is right in the vaping world again! The old wall wart wasn't supplying enough mah to charge the batteries properly. So just because your batteries have the right pressure(voltage), doesn't mean they have the power(amps).
