I'm perplexed by the no-resistor switches I received from Puresmoker. I installed the first one (no problem, seems like a no-brainer, only can go in one way installation), installed the batteries, atomizer...then immediately things get hot hot hot! I then quickly unscrewed the battery cover and checked the resistance of the switch. It showed virtually no resistance whether the button was depressed or not.

So, I sent it back to Puresmoker and they sent me a new switch. Being the cautious sort I measured the resistance of the new switch before installing it. Sure enough, it shows almost no resistance (.4 ohms) whether the button is depressed or not. Obviously I am not going to install it.

What am I missing here? If this is a case of operator error, let me know please. Just seems clear to me that something is not right.

I wrote to Casey as you requested regarding the switch, but haven't received a reply yet. I imagine you guys are busy there (or it's possible her reply got filtered by yahoo), but an acknowledgment would be appreciated.

Also, I received a 901/4075 adapter for the passthrough the other day. The threads are too large to accommodate my atomizers. That is to say, the atomizer simply won't fit over the top of the threads. These same atomizers (rn4075) fit the adapter for my 901/4075 prodigy and screwdriver, so I am sure it is a problem with the adapter.

I wrote to Casey about this as well, and haven't received a reply. Please let me know what I can do to facilitate this. Thanks very much.

Hey Matt,

Steve just sent you his own personal switch today- so we KNOW the switch works fine. :)

As for the adapter, I'll shoot you a new one. Sounds like I may have lost my marbles for a hot minute and mistakenly sent you an 801. Sorry 'bout that! If you could try once more to send an email in, let's see if we can get it taken care of that way.
