I'm perplexed by the no-resistor switches I received from Puresmoker. I installed the first one (no problem, seems like a no-brainer, only can go in one way installation), installed the batteries, atomizer...then immediately things get hot hot hot!
I then quickly unscrewed the battery cover and checked the resistance of the switch. It showed virtually no resistance whether the button was depressed or not.
So, I sent it back to Puresmoker and they sent me a new switch. Being the cautious sort I measured the resistance of the new switch before installing it. Sure enough, it shows almost no resistance (.4 ohms) whether the button is depressed or not. Obviously I am not going to install it.
What am I missing here? If this is a case of operator error, let me know please. Just seems clear to me that something is not right.
