When I follow the directions and install my batteries before attatching the adaptor; there is a gap between the body and the adaptor. the button slides into this gap. However, when I screw on the adapter first and then intsall the batteries; the gap is not an issue. The device works the same either way. Why does it matter which one I install first?

Also, I was under the impression that if I didn't hold the switch in with the batteries in and the adapter off; that the switch would be launched out of the body from the springs pressure on the batteries. This has not been my experience. Did I read this wrong or is my Prodigy special?

BTW: If you're on the fence, JUMP! This thing is a vapers dream.

Oh,.. and Steve is the master of vaping and Casey is a Customer Service Goddess!;)

My take is that it probably does not matter. If you screw the adapter on tight enough after installing the batteries it will probably get rid of your gap, but put a lot more pressure on your switch housing. The spring pushing the batteries down will also get looser a bit faster if you keep it too snug. So if it works loose i would leave it that way.

edited for this...you didn't read the thing wrong about the switch launching out from the pressure of the batts, but that was an exaggeration. It will fall out, that's about it.

Haha, good man, Curtis :thumb: I think they all believe you now ;)

As for the assembly, doesn't really matter. I generally put the adapter on first just because it makes the end cap easier to get on.
