I was just wondering where we were at with this. I've already got approval from the boss (wife) to pre-order 2 full kits. Any chance they will be rolling out by Christmas? Will they be RCR123A specific? I love the look and feel of my Protege, but the 3.7V just isn't cutting the mustard anymore. I would love a 5v / 6v device that is slightly larger than the Protege. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in for the next Prodigy too as it was easy to dismiss the Protege being a 5 volt diehard. Just waiting for the doors to open on pre-order ;)

I'd feel more comfortable having my V1 for backup instead of these aged 3.7v chinese battery configurations I know I will use to they are dead and never replace.

I carry the Prodigy everywhere I go (even when walking around the house), hence why I am hoping for a smaller device over different voltage configs.

yes, yes, let's keep this thread going...stay focused, let's not lose sight of the need for prodigy v2 info...preorder...availability...
Agreed, i am tired of the man trying to keep us down, haha, j/k.

Anyway, yeah, we need the V2, come on! GO GO GO!!!!

haha, i don't think Steve has finished even brainstorming, let alone engineering, although i could be wrong, a friendly gesture of a thread such as this never hurts.
