I've owned many many mods over the last couple of years. I owned the screwdriver when it was the only game in town. I've had the first gg, the ggtb, silver bullet, the BB, mako, chuck, prodigy V1, puresmoker 5v passthrough, prodigy v3.1, the adaptever and a couple of box mods to name a few. I have tried many different types of battery combinations and atomizers. I purchased the prodigy V3.1 at the end of January. My initial impressions were extremely positive. Here are my impressions after a month of use:

1. The button is amazing. Not one misfire with the thousand of times I pressed it. I can't say I have had that experience with any other mod I have used.

2. The build quality is top notch. The threading is great. There is an overall simplicity to the design which should insure that there is little to break. That being said, you can tell there was much thought put into the design. It seems to be designed to be a workhorse, but very elegant.

3. The batteries fit perfectly. I was using two tenergy 3.0v rcr123a batteries. I thought they were getting dented, but realized that was from another mod I was using. I put in some fresh batteries and used them for about two weeks and they still looked brand new (no denting whatsoever).

4. Vaper production was amazing. This is to be expected out of a device made this well. Of course with anything there is a learning curve. Not enough liquid and you can burn out your atomizer. Too much liquid and it becomes flooded and there is only a small amount of vapor. This is true with any mod. I myself have gotten pretty good at gauging this and have been using the same be112 atomizer for a month.

This is an awesome mod. The price point is great. The build quality couldn't be any better. Great work Puresmoker.

We must've ordered ours around the same time. I've had mine a little over a month and I couldn't agree more. I've used 510 cartos on it since I got it and it has been a dream. Fires every time, great TH and an almost publicly embarrassing amount of vapor. This is one device that will be staying in the stable.

Great Review Drum. I feel the same way. I am a toolmaker by trade and this PV is a work of art! It's simplistic design ensures a lifetime of great vaping. The quality is top notch. I am amazed and humbled by the thought that went into this beautiful Mod and really barely use anything else anymore. It is my all day PV every day without question. What a wonderful product! Kudos to Puresmoker for this awesome mod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

appreciate the nice comments chain :)

i should take a picture of my 1 year old Prodigy V3 ... she's seen her fair share of battles (run over by a jeep, dropped on asphalt & concrete God knows how many times, and partially repolished when I got bored one night!!! ) haha ...

she's a mixed bag of tricks with lots of nicks, but I wouldn't have her any other way :)

Yea, I saw that video of you running the Prodigy v3 over with the Jeep. Nice to know my new favorite PV can handle things like that! :D

haha ... it can :) about the worst that can happen is the atomizer breaking off, in which case, you unscrew the remaining threads & pop on a new atty!

enjoy & good luck slomchom

As an owner of every version of the Prodigy so far, I just wanted to pitch in with a +1 on this thread. The 3.1 is awesome. Arguably the best mod out there.

Whoo hoo!! Me too!! I haven't been able to be here in awhile. Going to have to check out this 3.1 now. I've been using my V3 for over a year and love it. No problems with it at all.:thumb:
