There is a video review on it and the reviewer said he used a clean pair of nail clippers to trim the wicks close to the tube and it helped with the wicking. I think that was LordDavons review. I haven't tried this yet, the 100% VG I have in mine has had no problems wicking.

My ce6 doesn't have any wicks sticking out.

My Revive E-1 that I got today just went open vaping at 4 V. I was really liking it too!
Good thing I got an extra coil insert.:)
I haven't heard of anyone else having that type of problem. It was very simple to switch out the coil insert and I was back vapin in a couple of minutes. Hopefully that was just a one in a hundred deal and I won't be having anymore probs because I'm definately liking them.

at the base of the atomizer tube there are indeed wicks just barely protruding, very short but they are there...supposed to be there anyway, perhaps that's your wicking problem you are wickless?

Are you talking about the Ce-6? Mine doesn't have any wick sticking out the holes. The wick is perpindicular inside the tube with the coil wire running up and back down over the wick. I think the key to these is drippin juice down inside the tube to saturate the wick when filling. Mine is working very good after doing that and after it set overnight. I'm really liking them now and I haven't had any dry hits with it this morning.:)

Absolutely, you can even see it on the product page pics.

You must have better eyes then me because I can't see them sticking out on the product page. Anyway they don't on mine but it doesn't matter now because it developed a crack after one refill. I took it apart to look closer and definately no wicks sticking out. Do you have a Ce6? It is a bummer they crack so easy because I really liked it after it started wicking.

Just a short take on the V8 after 4 days of use. vaping has been fun with this unit. The clouds of vapor and great flavor seems to be better on the V8 as compared to my mini LT. Must be the pulse-wave(?) current maybe? The batteries are hard to get in and out of both the V8 and charger though. Today I put in my recharged ones and went to work only to find out later that one of them didn't charge. Good thing I had my mini LT! You have to be careful with the charger to insure that the post are lined up when charging. Sure love the quality of the vape and Eric's pricing is great. Now if I just had those CE3's...Friday!

Could you be talking about the CE3s? In this video he's clipping the wick at the bottom. CE3 XL aka CV3 XL aka Phoenix Bottom Coil Review - YouTube

Sorry to hear that txtumbleweed. I was hoping that yours would hold up. Eric said he will see about getting replacement tubes for them. The CE6 looks like a well built unit. But the tubes definitely suck.

Gotta say though that I am really enjoying the new to me CE3's. They only hold 1 1/2 ml so have to be filled more often. Fortunately it is really easy to do. Just ordered 5 more boxes of them.

I've been using ce3's for quite a while and they work good but I only use them on a couple of pv's that use cones because they are so long and skinny. I like the looks of the ce4 type better but ce3's shells seem to hold up better and they are much cheaper. I just wish they held a little more juice and were cone shaped. I liked the 3ml bottom coil phoenix but they haven't got replacement cartos for them yet and DV doesn't carry them. I also like the Vivi Nova and hope Eric will carry them too.

Yes I've Vaped 20 ml through it, it is starting to get tiny cracks top and bottom, I love it, once the tank is done for I will miss it. I seems to just work better and better

The V8 works real good and is well worth the 30.00. It is my first box mod and it is much more comfortable than I thought it would be. It is plastic though so I don't imagine it would hold up to many drops on a hard surface. It won't replace my LT but it does look and work good. Having two batteries makes it hold a charge much longer than my LT though, which is a plus. It is also easier to change voltages with it because of the nice big buttons. I've been using a ce4 with it and they look real good together. Bigger tanks don't work to good on them though. All in all I don't think anyone could go wrong getting one!

Wow thanks. No, I'm not interested in using a tank on a MoxMod anyway, so that's fine then. I can't wait to get mine (if they ever come). If they don't, I will order one from Discount Vapers :p!

Here's a pic of one of my V8s with a CE3 and EGO cone which fits perfectly. Using the cone will tighten the draw a little though. My wife and I both love ours :)

I ordered the Ovale v8 late Tuesday night and it was here on Thursday morning (this morning)!

Two thumbs up on this thing.. I guess the only critique I can give about it is that the battery door on the back is really hard to open. I thought I might crack the unit trying to get it open.. but I didn't. It's very nice and provides for a comfortable handling and vaping experience, whether I use my left or right hand.

Ovale v8 with one of the two tanks the kit came with. Nice touch adding those in, btw..

you know you can contact me to get this fixed right :) :)
if you have one with no wicks, that's clearly a defect that needs to be replaced.

Wow, awesome pics of your V8's, thanks guys! Any comments on performance?

Thanks, Dragonbone. Performance-wise, this little thing cranks out the vapor. I've only been using it anywhere between 3.4 and 4.2 volts. It goes up to 6 volts, but I don't know what I would use a higher voltage for.. Maybe for larger tanks?

I've seen some reviews on it that say it goes for up to a day and a half on a full charge. This will be quite a change from my eGo 650mah batts.

Where's yours at, Dragonbone?? :D
