A brief intro; I started vaping 2 month's ago when I saw someone taking some pulls in my local mexican restaurant/bar here in so. Cal. Started with the basic crap*y 808 bought from some liquor store and quickly progressed to an Ego tank system. Found ECF, started lurking and absorbing info like a sponge (sooo much info out there).
I just want to take a quick moment to thank all of the incredibly patient and knowledgeable people on this forum who selflessly post helpful information to help us noobs out. I finally hooked up with a couple of local so. Cal B&M stores and while still confused, with the incredible resources provided here, I was able to synthesize out the noise and start to focus on some long term vaping solutions.
The path has note been without struggle, I've burned through my failed carto phase and have settled into what I think now is a long term vaping solution.
I find for my situation I like to constantly rotate 3 different juices using atty tanks (either vivi's or Kanger T2's). I typically load up a savory juice (currently HHV Gollum), a sweet juice (fruit or currently HHV smooth java) and a crisp juice (currently Halo Kringles Curse) and rotate through them throughout the day which keeps my tastebuds clean and fired up. Battery wise I finally sprung for a Provari mini and while I love it to death, I find my small E-go's and my Twist work great as well.

It's been a bit of a journey and I'm still working on completely dropping the analogs. I went from a pack a day for over 35 years to now burning 4-5 a day. I've just come to the realization that there is no reason to not pull the trigger and dump the stinkies!
This is a total revelation to me as I seriously though I would never be able to quit because to be quite honest I enjoy smoking cigarettes. I find that now when I go out to have a smoke I only burn a few hits then crush it out and walk away.

This huge rant is simply to say THANK YOU to the incredibly insightful, kind and generous family here at ECF. You've all been a fountain of knowledge, insight, inspiration and information and while I've just lurked in the background you should all know that I'm sure there are many, many more like me who have gleaned invaluable knowledge and inspiration from you.

My name is Tim and I'm a VAPER!

Welcome & congrats on your cut back. Hope each day gets a little better for you.
Thanks, now it's just down to making the commitment to walk away from the analogs completely. I really struggle with it since it's been a monkey on my back and a crutch in my life for so long. This is my first real attempt to drop them and I think that vaping is the first real option that hopefully will work for me.

Hi Twoof. Welcome to the ECF. There is no wrong way to go about what you want to do, other than doing nothing. So you have a few through the day,not a big deal.... each one you dont have is a win of its own. You have gone from virtually two packs a day to a few per day(and not even the whole thing at that). I feel that eventually you will have a day where you forgot to smoke and that will be the beginning of the next part of your vaping journey. Keep up the good work. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

You can do it Twoof. What I did was start putting off each cig for as long as possible and chain vaped during that time. Each time the duration was longer before I smoked. Got down to 2 a day and finally just stopped. The first couple weeks were really hard and I vaped like a fog machine. But, all of a sudden it was easy. Now I only chain vape on occasion. You've got the right equipment, now you need to just buckle down and do it. And if you slip, don't beat yourself up, just keep going forward.
