Just got an order from NorthernVapor in the mail. (From the 100mg sale they had last week, discussed in the Canadian Suppliers thread). Everything was packaged well, and arrived fast.

The 100mg nicotine I ordered was packaged in 12 small bottles for easy mixing, which was a nice plus. Lessened the chance of a major spill. The LR 510 attys I ordered work great, and the LR Ego-T atty is marked with the Ego-T label, so I am fairly sure it's an official Joye product. I haven't tried it yet, but I will report back when I do.

In addition to that, they hooked me up with 17 FREE empty 10ml dripper bottles! I totally forgot to order empty bottles to put DIY mixes in, so it's like they read my mind. Huge props to these guys, I would totally order from them again.

I also wanted to add, I just mixed up my 100mg nicotine with my VG, and survived the process.

We had a long discussion about this in a thread a week or two ago, and I'll re-state what I had to say about the matter...

No suppliers, mods, or anyone with any authority on the forums have ever stated that we shouldn't be discussing which suppliers carry nicotine. The only people who have ever gotten upset about it were just regular members of the forum who had no authority at all.

The people over at Health Canada obviously know exactly which Canadian suppliers exist, and exactly which products they are carrying. If anyone thinks they are fooling HC by not mentioning nicotine on the forums, they are kidding themselves. This is their job, and they aren't stupid.

If anything, keeping info about suppliers off the open forums will do nothing except hide the information from the new vapers who need the information most. It could push new vapers away, and that would hurt the community... Not to mention essentially writing a death sentence for those who can't get at any information and give up on e-cigs, and continue to smoke.

Either way, Northern Vapor has stopped carrying the item in question, so it's no big deal either way.

An update on the LR Tank atty...

I blew out the primer for a few minutes, put on a tank of juice, and gave it a couple dry pulls to prime it. I have run a full tank of strongly flavored juice through it, and it still has that gross 'new atty' taste that you always get for the first few pulls from a new atty. Anyone else had this experience with the LR tanks?

Don't know if this will help or not but when I get a new tank atty I blow the primer out, using the bottom end of the atty and blowing into a paper towel. You can get a lot of junk that way. Keep blowing until you can see no more primer, then I will blow on the tank part of the atty. After all this I will use a drop or two directly on the atty and put my filled tank on the atty.

I had the same problem with the tank set-up that I got as well. The taste was horrid. I put it aside and decided to just use cartos on these batteries. Vapo suggested that after blowing out the primer, I try a quick soak in vinegar followed by a hot water rinse -- I just tried it on the tank atty and then tried dripping...seems to have worked...no more acrid burnt taste (and no vinegar taste in case you're wondering).

I just bought 2 new egot lr attys and I can't get the hot electrical taste out!! I can't use them. I even tried boiling one on the stove and the water got a smell. it leaves a tangy metal taste in my mouth. odd how it happened to 2 attys both new. so unimpressed I have a shopping cart with 2 boxes of lr 510 boge cartos right as I type hehe

I vaped another tank through the LR atty, and the strange taste totally went away. Works great now. I love it, and would have a hard time going back to standard tank attys. Wicks my 75/25 VG/PG mix like a champ.
