Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin

I quit cigarettes and started vaping on November 9th, 2012. Im 23 and I was smoking about a pack and a half a day. Here's my problem; Im constantly wheezing and coughing and having symptoms of asthma. I even went to the doctor and was prescribed an asthma pump. I have never had asthma prior to vaping so I have a feeling its Propylene Glycol, I've done enough research. When I was smoking I never felt the way I do now, surprisingly. I want to switch to 100% VG because I dont see myself not vaping, too much fun. I have an AGA-T, which will be fine but for my tank cartomizers how many holes will work for the thick VG? (I love my two hole, single coil, 2 ohm cartos)

Also, has anyone experienced this and who can advise me about the best VG juices and flavors?
(I know pg has been regarded to as safe by the FDA but all our bodies are different. I have very mild psoriasis, practically non existent, and am allergic to shellfish and have sensitive allergies)

Best regards.

Cinnamon e-juices made me wheeze and gasp for breath. I can't vape anything with cinnamon. I'm also very sensitive to PG and now vape 100% VG without issues. PG makes me break out in hives and rashes and I get a stuffed up nose and generally feel sick. The two main vendors I use for 100% VG is Heather's Heavenly Vapes (their Purity line contains absolutely no PG) and Highbrow Vapor who also offers 100% VG juices. I think Virgin Vapors is 100% VG, and Alien Visions. I would start small by testing what may be causing your issues. You wouldn't want to assume it's the PG and buy a bunch of VG juices and it end up being something else. Buy something 100% VG and vape it for a few days to see if your symptoms improve. If not, it could be a multitude of other things like PG, nicotine, flavorings, cinnamon, equipment, carto filler, etc.

Not all vendors who offer 100% VG are actually 100% VG, just so you know. Some of them use flavorings that are of a PG base. I personally have a severe sensitivity to PG. Here are a few vendors I've found to have absolutely PG free juice to get you started.

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Purity Line of juices is 100% VG
Velvet Cloud Vapor - total line is 100% VG
Virgin Vapor - total line is 100% VG
Alien Visions - has a 100% VG line of juice

A good VG based juice vendor knows to thin the juice properly before adding flavor, however VG still doesn't always absorb as quickly in a carto. I've not had a problem with them in 2 hole cartos, myself. I use Smoktech cartos. If you use Boge's, you may very well need 3 holes since the wadding is denser.

If you do ever get one that seems thicker, you can thin with distilled water a drop or two per mL. You can also sit the bottle in a cup of very hot tap water for a few minutes prior to loading a carto, the heat will change the viscosity.
