Propylene Glycol in Canada?

I did a quick Google search and found many results from ECF stating PG can be bought at SDM or Walmart for fairly cheap, but you need to order it. I tried out Walmart first and they said they will not sell it, and SDM said they have Medisca, but only in powder form and upon further inquiry was told that they cannot sell it anyways. Even when asked if I can order some (I told them I want it to make soap) they flat out refused.

I've heard success stories at SDM where some people were able to get several ounces for 5$~ of liquid PG USP. I'd much rather buy it in store than online because all I need is PG; and the cheapest shipping is close to 10$ for an ounce at 5$. I severely lose my DIY profit margins by buying online versus in store, solely because of the shipping.

Any other places I can get PG?

Ask the person in the pharmacy section of Shoppers to order a bottle for you. They sold me a 500ml bottle of Medisca for about $9..

If the large box stores are not willing, try a smaller local pharmacy.

Any pharmacy in Canada will order it. It is for humidor (keeping cigars) and when mixed 50/50 with distilled h2o maintains the humidity at 70%. Having said that if you look like a person of ill repute, you might have difficulties convincing the pharmacist you need it for your humidor as PG is used as a binding agent in pharmacy e.g pills

In Halifax, NS I could only buy it in Costco. All other pharmacies "we are not allowed/licensed to sell chemicals"
It was about $5 for 500ml.

I bought mine from Zellers pharmacy. Just called them up, ordered 500ml of it. They didn't ask me any questions,etc..
Picked it up the next day.
Every where else I tried, Safeway, Walmart, Shopper's, Superstore, Costco, all said no for me.

Can someone with a bottle of Medicasa PG get the product number and bar-code for me?
My neighbourhood pharmacist went to order it for me but it has now been removed from the most recent ordering catalog She said to get the product code and she'll see if it can still be ordered. She then showed my some type of PG now on the shelves (OTC) but it didn't look to be 100% PG, may be PEG-400, I'll have a look at it later.

In frustration I then went to the only compounding pharmacy in town. My usual pharmacist who I buy things like powdered Titanium & what nots for ceramic hobby projects wasn't in. The girl working in his place wouldn't sell it to me. I think she's now called the street-crime unit to report me for suspect of running a illegal lab, lolz!

Anyways, I need the Medicasa PG product number or my cigars are going to become brittle

Already checked Bulk Barn and very few (4) flavors and no PG, just VG. Also checked Michaels- 4 flavors and no PG. Luckily I just ordered from RTS when I had my last order shipped but am still looking around when time permits or I spot a possible vendor. Also had my Flavorless Nic Juice PG based so that helps.

Somebody around here said that it can be bought at TSC. Haven't look there myself. I get mine from Shoppers and asked the pharmacist. But only 1 Shoppers in the city would sell it to me.
