The non-pg flavors are more subtle and the juice itself tends to produce more visible vapor though the visible vapor does not seem to be directly correlated with increased throat hit or lung hit so don't think it does.

The main reason for VG based liquids is that some people do not physically handle PG based liquids very well. If I use PG based liquids my throat gets sore to the point I loose my voice and swallowing is painful. Using VG based liquids I do not have these problems.

For this reason my liquid purchases have been limited to JC and Juicy Liquids. Soon to be added to that list will be e-liquid planet why will be carrying VG based liquids very soon .

If you do not have a physical side effects from the PG liquids then there is no real compelling reason for you to use VG based liquid other than curiosity. If you are looking for increased visible vapor then you can simply get some USP grade ingestable VG and add a little bit to PG based liquids. Be aware that cutting down a liquid cuts down the flavor so do it sparingly and you will get great flavor as well as large plumes of vapor.

Do these places offer unflavored VG based juice?

Johnson Creek offers e-juice with and without Propylene glycol. I was wondering if anyone has used the non Propylene product.

I have, was using PG until a couple weeks ago, I was developing an awful hoarsness. Switch to their non-PG, which is Vegetable Glycerin, and that did the trick. I was also using their Original tobacco flavor, but since have stepped that up a bit too and went to Tennessee Cured. Just a bit more flavor, seemed to me that VG just needed more flavor. But then I had started using the Stick, so that may have also had something to do with a little flavor drop. I like it fine~!

Regarding plain USP grade PG/VG. A coworker and I have had great luck with a place in Oregon called Essential Wholesale. minus the shipping I got both (together) PG and VG in 16Oz size bottles for under ten dollars!!!! As of date of post the VG was $2.55 and PG was more at $5.55.) I was pleasantly shocked, and yet a little upset with e-juice stores with their LARGE profit margins.
Hmm I don't know. ...I'm not pissing on anyone.

Also, I can't tell the difference in throat hit, but VG vapor is sweeter on the tongue and thicker in the lung. (wow catchy)
Yet VG is super thick and we buy PG to water it down. Plus I think a blend of any part size do vape better than plain VG/PG. But my friend would say he could live on VG bases alone.
So it's really up to personal preference I guess.
My 2 cents. Good luck!

BTW: we smoke with the Ego-T (type A)
