Hello everyone new member here this is my first post. I'm about to reach one month with no cigarettes. I was able to quit analogs pretty much instantly when I got my first setup with 18mg nicotine juice. I only had urges to smoke for the first week. I was only a smoker for 3 years but wow do I feel a lot healthier in just this short time I have been vaping.
Anyways my first set up was a TS3 kanger tank with vision spinner vv and it had good flavor good vape. Then I got a protank 2 and a mini protank 2 cause I wanted something glass. Now the protanks I was having problems with and I hated them at first, then I do a quick search and find many many threads about this same weird taste I was getting. It burned my throat and numbed it at the same time providing no flavor from the juice not really a burnt taste. I read about bad coils but I have been through many packs of coils and most were probably all good now that I know what was wrong. I read about the airy draw that was causing not enough juice to get to into the wick. I noticed both my protanks did have a airy draw, after awhile messing with my battery and tanks I realized: WITH MY VISION SPINNER THE PROTANKS HAD TO BE SCREWED DOWN COMPLETELY TO ELIMINATE THE AIRY DRAW. Now they both vape great and I can actually taste the juice. I have now added a O-ring at the bottom of my battery where the tank sits so I don't have to screw it down all the way cause it was leaking when I did that. It seriously made a huge difference I believe I was dry hitting coils for like a week in both of them. Every once in awhile I have to unscrew the tank and screw it back on to get the tight draw back.
*Same juice was used in all tanks from a local shop which is awesome Monster Vape 18mg strawberry mojito NOT A THICK JUICE.
*I bought all tanks and coils from Monster Vape all legit Kanger Tech, thats pretty much all they carry for tanks and coils.
*I have been buying packs of 2.4 ohm coils since before I found out my problem.
*This worked for me, on my battery, with my juice, and with the coils I had.
I had to use this vaping smiley at least once.
