Okay, so I've been toying with the idea of getting a Protank, but the people mentioning airy draws make me nervous. Is this a symptom of bottom coil atomizers? I had purchased some Vision Nano 510's and do not particularly care for them, i get an airy draw and the flavors aren't quite right. Is it likely I will have a similar experience with the Protank? I'm rather happy with my iClear's and the Protank is kind of expensive for a tank I'm not even sure I want.

Yes it is an airy draw, and designed to be so for 1) keep things cool, 2) for the fact the wicks are constantly in contact with your liquid, not requiring tilting up and such to get them wet. I do notice with mine, when chain vaping, once the glass starts getting warm, vapor taste does increase on sweeter liquids. However, the EVOD heads can be used with the protank which tightens up the draw, there is also an airflow regulator offered that does so as well, and other end-user tricks to plug 1 or 2 of the air holes to tighten the draw up on it. The biggest advantages of the protank is it is pyrex/stainless so all tank cracking/melting liquids won't affect it. Easy to clean, sturdy as heck, and can handle getting warm via chain vaping or cranking up the Volts/Watts without batting an eye, though with thicker liquids at 50PG/50VG to 0PG/100VG you have to disassemble the heads to remove flavor wicks to allow it to wick good enough. Another strength is the heads can be rebuilt/rewicked/recoiled if you have the know-how.

I have several protanks which don't get a whole lot of use. Mainly as it is way to airy draw for me and i dont care for the tip. They ar enice tanks though. I also have EVODs which I like better than the protank as far as draw but I don't use them much anymore either. I do however keep the protanks around for my tank cracker liquids. I recently got an anyvape BCC (not to be confused with vape only) varitube is the only place that I have seen them carried, great customer service by the way. Anywho....that is a great BCC IMO and experience. Tighter draw, more like a vivi nova and replaceable drip tip! I love these two tanks and plan to get a couple more. They use EVOD heads too which is a plus and for $11 for the tank and two or maybe three (can't remember) heads, you can't beat it!

My love right now are carto and carto tanks though but I use both my billet box with carto and the anyvape bcc daily, all day!

I just got my protank about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Before that I was using a vivi nova which I still keep in my rotation. The pro tank is absolutely the best thing I've had my hands on although it is also my first RBA. I actually like the airy type vape. You don't sacrifice flavor or anything but the airy vape is nice and cool.
