Does anyone else have a problem with a burnt taste/extreme throatiness from their Protank 2? I love my original PT after putting an airflow control on it, but after a few seconds, my Pt2 tastes burnt. I changed the coil and it didn't help. I even left the coils on the bases and swapped them and the PT1 was great, but the 2 tasted burnt. I think it might be the bridge that holds the center tube blocking juice flow, but idk. I'm vaping 50/50 juice so I don't think thick juice is the problem. Any ideas?

If your airflow control valve is set for a very open, airy vape, you'll "outrun" the wick's ability to soak up juice.
Close the valve just a bit and try again. Repeat until you're not getting burnt draws anymore.

I tried that and turned the voltage down, too. It's fine at 3volts, but anything higher is bad. I run the PT1 wide open at 4.0v without problems.
I just figured it out! The local b&m was out of Kanger coils, so I bout some clones. For some reason, they have a silicone washer on top of the wick, underneath the silicone tube seal. I pulled that out and the flavor's back. You were right CK, the wick couldn't keep up with the juice demand, but it wasn't an airflow issue.
