Hey guys, I've had my protank 2 for about a week now and absolute love it. Great vape over my nova knock-offs. However it started leaking so I replaced the head and that seemed to work, but now it is making a popping noise on inhale. Is this a sign of leakage to come? I've read several fixes on how to stop the leakage, but what has worked for you?

Nope, popping is a sign of a hot spot on the coil. minor misalignment or gap in a coil.
Probably will not cause any problem under normal use.
Good to know! I just swapped my coil head and had the popping noises too. Figured it was no biggie since it was still producing good vapes

How long did wait for you juice to saturate your new coil head before the first vape? I let my new coils soak for a minimum of 15 minutes before vapping, other wise problems will develop. Also clean out the tank every other fill, q-tip or pipe cleaner down the center shaft, and I can get up to 3 weeks of one coil head.

I do agree with you that the Protank 2 is a great vape. I did have a lot of issues with it leaking. Like yours, mine started leaking at the top which I sealed back with some adhesive. That worked for a couple more days than the bottom started to leak, which I fixed in the same manner. That only worked for about a day than same thing again. I could never get it to seal right again so I finally gave up on it. The temp around where I am at, at the time this happened, was about 110 degrees so if I put it in my pocket and was outside for a period of time it would leak. I believe that the adhesive that is used on it can not handle that temp without melting, so be careful where you place it.

I usually let my juice soak for at least 5 minutes after refilling, then take a couple of long dry hits. I also usually soak my heads in isopropyl for a couple of hours after a few tanks. Anything else I can do to keep up with the heads?

Not good to use iso!!!:(
Go for grain alcohol or cheap 100 proof vodka.....no poisonous additive(s)!!
We want you around to vape with us awhile!!:D
