Protank 3: Some initial thoughts

I have been gaping the Protank 3 on an Innokin iTaste vv 3.0 Rev. 2 for about two weeks and here are some of my initial thoughts:

1. The dual coil design is an improvement. I am getting more flavor than the Protank 1 or Protank 2 and have yet to get a burnt hit.

2. The wick is not as easy to change as the version 1 or 2 due to the lack of a top post.

3. Contrary to what I had been hearing, I have not had any leaking issues with the tank. I made it a point to torque both the wick and bottom cap of the tank tighter than I would with the version 1 or 2 and I have yet to have an issue.

4. The vapor production seems slightly better than the Protank 3's predecessors, but is barely noticeable.

5. i have yet to find it necessary to change my week after 10 days of use. Still good flavor and cape production.

Overall, so far so good. I am pleased with the performance of the tank but am hesitant to give two full thumbs up yet. Will continue to beat this tank for a couple of more weeks to see how consistent the wicks are as I am finding the version 1&2 wicks to be very inconsistent.

Interesting that you find the MKIII has more flavour.. I find the MKII to be the best around ProTank.

For flavour the i30S clear is better than any ProTank.

I have all 3 Pro tanks versions and feel that the upgrades from the original on the MK2 where worthwhile improvements the MK3 feelsrushed and unnecessary.
