I have not tried this but I have read somewhere that if you take off that little silicon cap on the evod head and flip it over it will make the seal on the protank tube and stop the problem. Your mileage may vary as I have NOT tried it. Might be worth a shot though.

Didn't work on T3s. Then again, you had to redesign those with all sorts of modifications to get them perfect. :)

I read the same thing...so when I ordered my Protank, the Vendor I ordered from was out of stock on Protank heads...so bought Evod heads instead...got them in and then was told by someone on here that you had to switch out the steams on them...that was a PITA! So ended up just ordering me an Evod...turns out I like it much better than the Protank! Even though it is much smaller...I really like it! Next week I'll probably just order 2 more Evods, and put the Protank on the back burner and use as a back up...which kind of stinks considering how much $$ it costs!

I tried the EVOD head in the Pro-tank with no leaking issues. It didn't really tighten the draw any, but I had no problems.

My one EVOD seems to be the one I reach for the most. I do love my vivi nova mini metal too, but as it's only for one super-minty vape, I think I'm just going to buy a bunch of EVODs from fasttech.

Saying that, my original setup was spinners with CE5 clearos. These have served me well too - but they are almost the same price as an EVOD and they are a little fussy with the twirly-whirl that I have to do when they are running low on juice.

My MT3? - I threw it in the back of a drawer, I tried messing with that thing every which way, but I couldn't get it to stop leaking. I'm going to try re-wicking / recoiling it soon, maybe that will help.

Not saying the pro-tank is bad, I use it pretty much every day, I just prefer my vivi nova and EVOD.

Is that what they are referring to as "cupping"? For the life of me, I couldn't understand WHAT he was talking about when he tried to describe cupping. Your description makes a lot more sense :p

My evod heads work in my T3's and Protank. My T3/Protank coils do not work my evods. In my search for the best vape, I find that evod to be the best imho. Like and use them all. Love bottom coils compared to top coils. Once my extra 20 heads/coils for T3/Protank are gone, then maybe I will go exclusively evod, when out and about. We'll see. Best of luck to you!

Or not. All I have to do with my T3's is fill and Vape :D

THIS is good news. I am really pleased for all the people that are getting good service from Kanger T3s.

I bought 6 and at least 10 "bases" ($50+) and gave them all away to a newbie vaper. I couldn't get them to play ball, but, wow! I loved the vape on these.....just awesome.

Maybe it's something to do the PG/VG ratio.

I`m a big fan of Evods. Granted they need work for my purpose so my method is to...

Recoil with 30awg Kanthal doing 6 tight turns around a toothpick for 1.7ohm.
Leave it all in place and set the coil.
Flash the coil and then pull a doubled length of Ekowool 1.5mm through, lay a single piece of 1.5mm on top as the flavour wick.
Flip the cup (so juice gets to the wicks faster).
Slap it on my Vamo and vape at 3.8v.

It gives a lovely smooth and quite cool draw with tons of flavour! To be honest the flavour is better with soft fruit type juices than both the AGA`s and RSST RBA`s that I play with.

I prefer the RBA`s for the tobacco or heavier flavours and they do give a warmer vape with more vapour but for something like the Honey/Apple/USA-Mix I diy I hav`nt found a better vape than that set-up with the Evod. Plus the Evod with the 1.7ohm set-up works bloody well on the eGo batteries :D

I bought my pro tank and switched to EVOD heads and the draw was tighter and I've had no leaking for three tanks now so I'm not sure what's going on with your setups. Maybe some kind of manufacturing update happened at some point and the parts changed just a tiny bit. I just got my protrank two days ago and loved it but it was too airy, went to 2.5Ʊ EVOD heads since I didn't like the 1.8Ʊ heads it came with and it's been fantastic ever since.
