I have an evod on a ego. I also have the same issue. I never leave it in my car or in direct sunlight but anytime im outside in the heat I always get less vapor production and less of a throat hit.

thank you, guess i will save the 8$ then :) i want to upgrade my batteries though, i have the ego-t 650mah batteries, what would be a good upgrade for me to work with my protanks?

You are drawing in cold air to meet the humidity created by vaporizing your juice to make visible white vapor. Hotter days have hotter air, and so vapor volume decreases. Think white breaths during winter; you dont have that in the summer.

I dont have an explanation for lack of throat hit, but then again TH is a sensation so its hard to quantify or reason upon.

I have this problem and it is the ProTank. When I go from 80 AC in my house to my car, the ProTank floods and won't hit at all. I'm in Phoenix so the temperature change it big. Car can easily be 130 degrees.

I did exactly what you are thinking of. I bought an evod as I wanted a decent bottom feed and wanted to try it. I do not have this problem with my evod but I only have the one so far and haven't had to replace atty yet. Could change. So far, so good with the evod though!

I have an ego 1000mah or maybe 1100mah not sure. And an ego twist same mah. I'm wanting to upgrade to a provari here in the near future.

Yes, heat (above about 85) does cause protank flooding. My solution is one of those travel mugs that have the liquid in them and are meant to be frozen - freeze the mug, use that as a PV holder in your car and, if you are going out for all day, a small cooler with those reusable ice packs wrapped in a towel (to soak up any condensation) is a must have - cool juice, cool spare tank, cool rig.

Yes, I know these things act more like pets than PVs at times, I swear it has a mind of its own. LOL

Higher VG (like above 50% helps too but, that kills the TH unless you are doing a spicy/hot flavor or lots of nic to compensate for it.

Living in Texas and working outside all day makes for some challenging vape conditions. I do notice a slight decrease in vapor from my Evods around the 90 - 100 degree mark, but by then my biggest worry is keeping myself hydrated.

Also, three quarters of the way through an Evod the vapor production drops way off. I switch to a full Evod that I've kept near my cold lunchbox and all is well.

Hello. Been vaping about a month now and smoke free after 21 years. Found I prefer high vg juices. I live in Tx. Just bought an evod. Removed both flavor wicks and it works awesome in the a.c. I'm an auto tech so I work outdoors. In the Texas heat my evod floods like crazy with both wicks removed.I use mini novas at work and evod at home. Hope this helps. (80vg, 20pg mix)
