This ^, world of difference.

Now just tell me where in the hell I can get some.

Everybody sold out except canvape...who doesn't ship to 'merica apparently.

Got a restock email from cigtech or somebody this morning, followed the link within ten seconds of getting email...sold out.

If you can't get that Aerotank base. There is one alternative that I have done.

I took a 1/16 drill bit and drill out the air holes on the base. it was like night and day. With a rebuilt PT2 atty and the 1/16 holes...vape bliss, just sayin.

The only downfall is that you can't reverse the action once that drill bit goes through, but I haven't had a negative thing happen yet. I have been using this method for well over a month now.

Here is what I drilled out, there are 3 or so holes, I drilled them all. No pun intended.

Great answer and it does work. Thanks.

Here's the problem: The differential pressure in the tank changes.

At first, drilling out the holes improves the air flow. And it can be that it's perfect at a 16th for the juice and coil design at the beginning for you. There's good vacuum at the start holding up the juice when the tank's full. As it drains, the vacuum pressure weakens. Flow increases. Then even 1/16's still not good enough.

Or, the Aero, it works because the standard air holes can be too much at the beginning for the PT2. Even though I run 96% VG about 2/3 open does it for my setup/mix. Full open near 40% empty or if I vape hard and that's often not enough.

Just a couple of observations guys.

Good luck.

:)

Well to avoid the vacuum problems, 1-3 times a day, I take the time to flip the tank over unscrew the the base, lift it up, release the vacuum and I'm back to making good clouds all the way to the last drop in the tank. it has been working good for me doing it this way, after a week my cotton wick and coils still look new, I refill my tank twice a day though.

Doin' well Tex. I vape and chain pretty hard. When the tank gets got and cools off fast it can feel like suckin' on an empty balloon. You described the perfect way to clear that.

I usually refill before I reach 40% as with decreasing vacuum it will tend to leak out more. Kanger I believe recommends refill at half-fill.

Good luck.

:)

Try Here Home - KangerTech US, LLC out of stock, posted on site will have more 2/21 place order now and receive when in stock. I ordered from them and they will be here today.

Thanks, I was aware of this, just don't want to wait that long.

Also thanks to mac, but those were also oos. I found some somewhere...for 13.50 + ship...for that price I would just but aerotanks as I prefer the styling anyway.

The hunt continues.

Can't speak to the aerotank base on a protank yet, but on the aerotank it's the bees knees (can't see how it would be different on a regular pt). Still haven't heard a single gurgle or had a dry hit, even chain vaping.
